_kaernunnos: I say prepatch at the earliest, simply because it will require hero talent rework for the class. If they follow the pattern of the other classes, both havoc and veng would lose access to one of the current heroic trees in the shuffle, and I doubt they would do that mid expac.

heraclesst.2269: I believe a void themed hero talent option is the most likely scenario, dh is the only class where adding a hero talent would be frictionless. Also the fact that the void meta icon is a recolour of havoc’s reinforces that, since blizzard usually wants new specs to be distinct… We’ll see, but they are definitely cooking something

Arkuzian: I know it's a pessimistic take, but i would expect Blizzard letting maybe void elfs become demon hunters or maybe even making a new void hunter class over DH getting a third spec. I want to be proven wrong but i'm not holding my breath.

therosmo1491: I think a range dh would be cool, but (and this is a big what if) what if they made it similar to Reaper from ffxiv? Cause I see that scythe icon on the spell ability list and there was a "leaked" image with one of the weapons that it could use is polearms (and other two handers)

ANilahAtion: Honestly was always upset that Mist/WoD Demonolgy got removed and the warcraft 3 version of DH meta was focused on ranged splash damage. it seemed strange that the class that required elven sorceress never had a ranged DPS specs

C4M-Biz: Been waiting a solid time ( since legion) for DH to be my go to specc and main again.

Had the best time in wow on my DH..but the whole need to rush builds that was meta crushed it for me.

Hoping for a 3rd specc for sure, I've always wanted a DH healer specc tbh... But also a 2nd dps specc...so idk what I want the most
