dfcd1432: Interesting that you forgot probably the biggest classic item. Mark of the Champion from the KT Phylactery quest. It has a ton of use in TBC. While it may not be as broken as Badge or Brooch it's used by almost every dps class, and even tanks it's a great threat item.

LeRoiduSaucisson-t4o: Demonic Runes are great for ret paladins since you double dip on them thanks to your paassive that gives you mana when healed by someone else.

Ret is also really mana intensive so unless you're on a boss that constantly damages you, they're always good.

N4chtigall: I hate the fact that in retail WoW, Blizzard made old items useless by giving them level restrictions. By removing them Blizzard would create incentive to go back to older content to get some interesting items that may be useful. But unfortunately, Blizzard is a bunch of cowards who are scared that people will exploit things, so they rather throw the baby out with the bath water and kill the fun on the spot.
