People get upset seeing these typa bugs but when theyre so widely used like they are in these examples, it makes no sense to punish such a large majority

Have had 4 friends perma banned just over the past 2 years. All just gave up and quit. You can't even get a human response from Blizzard's customer service anyhow... Yet anyone can just cheat in the game without any consequences.

sanagos9350: Early on in Midnight, I was banned for a profession knowledge exploit. The problem was that I never actually used it. I tried to use a book once during server lag associated with the "Abundance" event. I finally succeeded and received exactly 15 points—the amount I was supposed to get. Yet, I was banned for it anyway. Support tickets didn't help; I received a Bot response every time.

Sykretts: I just wish "criminal-like thinking" was not so prevalent in e-sports of any kind. It's alsmost like all e-sports players, RWF raiders included, just stop functioning like regular human beings and instead begin to think like criminals as to what crimes they can commit and get away with. Integrity just doesn't exist at the high level of any e-sport, its a shame. If such players get confirmation that they can get away with exploiting/cheating at something, they will almost certainly do that thing and then chalk it down to "oh I needed to do this so I don't fall behind".

I understand the players in question trying to justify their own actions, it makes sense within their universe. What I find weird is the para-social nature of the fans/followers of those players who also join in and give their blessings to excuse that kind of criminal thinking from the players.

Inb4 people come at me with the "you can't win/compete without cheating" rhetoric - if that was true, some of your favorite IRL sports and sportstars would not be a thing. Think Formula 1, driver's dont dope and if they drive with no regard for the rules they get penalized / DQ'd rightfully. Soccer/Football, the players don't dope and if they try stupid shit in a match they get penalized right then. And so on. This problem mainly only exists with e-sports and the people associated with them.

Liratan: I always remember the Dratnos example of the Freehold RP skip. Where he just never did it and if I'm remembering correctly Blizzard never even fixed that issue for the whole season so when the season closed he basically was like, damn I was an idiot for not just doing it, and I made every Freehold I did with my team harder just because I thought Blizzard would enforce exploiting.
