Shopping Cartsabercat43: Shamans eatin' good this expansion.
NewbsRus: as someone who is about to jump into wow for the first time, this guide makes it hard to choose my first class. so many cool looking specs!
wesleyvl8572: Demonology warlock is the best
Chinaonetakeout99: Ran Aug to 3k in S3 TWW. The lowest played and average score of all specs.
Was fun af. Favorite dps by far. Only thing that sucks is that most people don’t know how aug works. Have to run combat logs to get accurate depiction of what you really contributed.
boutch1993: man... augmentation is fun and all, but they really should make the first long ranged tank based on timing skills and earthen power. That would be SO NICE!!!!!!
Arapaima24: Fire mage needs a total rework, they need combustion to be reworked to its old version. Increase ignite ticks and damage. And fire should just be a huge ignite class. Spreading ignite with pyros. Give it living bomb for even more AoE and have a new ability (meteor shower) so ur just a dot rot class that has a aoe chunk ability with combustion and a single target chunk with HUGE pyros
krucible9369: No timestamps = instant dislike
DarthDraecon: the CoH/CoV Mastermind shout-out is fire! love a good throwback
thunderleg6605: Aug tank and a Shammy tank spec FTW
Amun3ra: Balance sounds like a move back to wrath of the lich king type balance druid. Which I'm a huge fan of
rlemburg: All you streamers are like “devourer is amazing, maybe a touch boring” and “BM is C tier so boring and simple, 3/4 buttons”
D2Mephisto: I've been playing Arcane since I was a teenager. Like 17/18 years old. I'm now almost 40. I can say, looking back on all that time, I prefer Arcane to be more on the boring/simple side, rather than on the complex side. Legion Arcane was great. There weren't many Barrage multipliers back then, so the goal was just to 4-charge Barrage as much as you could. It was very simple. You could build charges with Blast or Explosion, depending on the situation. The only downside was being a "melee" Mage -- that got me killed a lot in Legion Mythic keys, lol :)
But yea, back then in Legion you mostly just wanted to equip the legendary shoulders... Mantle of the Kirin Tor I think it was called?... and just spam as many 4-charge Barrages out as you could to gamble on BIG Arcane Orb procs. Arcane Orb hit a bit harder back then, and like it does now it also enabled another massive Barrage if you were fighting 4 enemies and hit them all with your Orb, getting an instant refill on your Arcane Charges. But even before then, I remember TBC Arcane and WoD Arcane, and I really liked the spec in both of those expansions, too. And it was pretty "simple."
The only thing I like about the current pre-Midnight version of War Within Arcane that we have on the live game right now is that Intuition is fun. It's just fun to have a 5% chance to randomly get a big, fat 50% Barrage damage multiplier for your next Barrage within 5 seconds. Also love that it refunds Arcane Charges. But it's ok, I can part with it if it means no more Weak Auras needed for Arcane, and no more 13 different damage multiplier conditionals to track in order to make sure you're doing max DPS. Simple is always better, to me.
I'm not sure what you mean by the word "fluid" and so I cannot understand your criticism of Arcane -- are you saying the spec has some kind of weird laggy feeling to it when you press the buttons for the Arcane Mage spells? Or some kind of additionally long global cooldown length compared to other specs that's hidden and not reflected in the tooltips for Arcane Mage spells? Or something like that? What does "not fluid" mean really? Similar is when people refer to playing a spec and say it feels "smooth" -- what do you mean by that? I think using a more descriptive word that better captures what you're trying to describe might land better with viewers. I certainly get a "???" going through my mind when I hear you repeatedly say 'smooth' and 'fluid' -- like no offense but WTF does that mean?
rafaelrodrigues3278: I'm very sad about the Hunter MM and even the BM. They might deal decent damage (for now), but the gameplay is boring. As a MM main, I feel like I'm really going to abandon the Hunter. Seeing the class as it is in War Within, after many bad expansions, with satisfying gameplay and various build options for different content, becomes a totally monotonous and uninteresting mess in Midnight. It's a real shame. Unfortunately, the devs think that just increasing the damage of some specs will make everyone happy.
thiagohaiss1328: Frost Mage is very good, in my opinion it just lacks a bit of sustain/self-heal for mages.
thomasc9036: Regarding your comment on the Fire Mage, is the diversity of skills just for the sake of breaking monotony fun? I felt that the fire mage had too many skills that did the same thing, but named differently. You just pressed it because some thing like the Fire Blast was off cd. I think Blizzard simplifying to core system is good.
JohnnyFiction: watching devourers spam blue eye beam every 5 seconds makes you realize it's the worst and most annoying mechanic in the game
OzTheYouTuber: I gotta say, just watching Elemental Shamans firing off electrical attacks like living Tesla Coils is a real pleasure. It's also pretty clear WoW has been steadily improving the quality and fidelity of the FX, which is also very nice. Shadow Priests going Old God thematically also makes a good amount of sense - they're already so different from the other two specs in the Priest class.
mrjsk901lapcx2un: My Main for Midnight Season 1 is Frost Mage.
drogotoadfoot6606: Support role is actualy not bad. It was well made in Rift years ago. Just made some specs support like ench or disc.
bladerunner2006: How is augmentation 8/10 fantasy? Who is fantasizing about playing a supportive dragon?
daws7511: Barring any big changes, looks like I'll be Evoker main. All three specs are fun and Dev's changes are good. Double Deep Breath is the cherry on top!
luminanza309: I do love the long range and hard hitting aimed shots of marksman - but I felt like we already had that and it was satisfying, fluid and fun. On beta, it feels stale, slow and uninteresting. Sadly.
KJN311: Only one support class shouldn’t be a negative. Ebon might on cooldown gameplay is fair
LOFNET: I don't know why people keep complaining that Augmentation isn't a tank. There's a quick and easy solution: a Dracthyr warrior
ellie_birdy: Frost and Devourer for me
WarMonkeyPlays: Great list, << laser chicken since end of TBC. The balance changes are a disappointing step forward (yes, I'm being obnoxious with the wording). Most people who main it (myself included) have two big issues: 1) the ramp sucks, 2) it's boring and predictable. The change to eclipse is a welcome one. It's largely better than what we currently have, but now it's awkward having CA still there, especially with the one talent that has a chance to grant you both eclipses. I haven't asked around on the Grove, but my biggest issue with the spec is that we have effectively 4 filler buttons; buttons that have little impact visually and gameplay-wise when you hit them. IMO, they should either make FoE and mushrooms baseline and have those apply MF and SF, or give MF and SF a proc to turn into FoE and mushrooms. The latter won't fix the ramp issue, but it would make those buttons more interesting. It's a combination of having some button bloat issues with shit buttons that we have to press.
