The Loneliest Road in Classic WoW

AcidTripOk: I've always used the southern road every time I quest in Feralas, I was not even aware there was a "northern" road lol.

ishura19: This is one of my favourite places in the game. When WOTLK Classic wrapped up (I had no intention of continuing on to Cata), I took my character to the lake and logged out on the shore.

erejnion: It IS actually tied with quests! There is a chain that starts at Feathermoon about a missing scout that goes through his boat, then gnolls, then the insects... and then his bagpack sends you towards Thalanaar heavily hinting towards this exact path.

Guanjyn: That road that goes through the whole of Feralas is like the vibiest vibe of Classic WoW.

ThePhinderblast: Wait, there is another road? I always take this longer and scenic detour, I didnt realize there is another path to the north.

One little trivia about it: In Vanilla, in some parts of the lake and the felled tree used as bridge your breath meter appear and you can drown if you stay in the place. Usually it just pop in and out quickly, as you move and I always joke that the jungle is so humid that you can drown in its air.

hamelconsultancyllc: The more of your videos I watch the more I think we will never have a game with as much love as classic wow. It is so perfect even 20 years later.

yourguysheppy: Listening to tales from classic wow while playing turtle on the other monitor, truly wowmaxxing

Nagria2112: I walk a lonely road, The only one that I have ever known. Don't know where it goes, But it's home to me, and I walk alone ~

fun fact: i used this road as alliance to get my dungeon buffs very often because i was the warlock xD

sleepybat5408: And here I was thinking this was going to be about that tiny path from The Hitherlands to Western Plaguelands ha.

I think I may have walked this before at least once. If I remember right there is a random little flight path sitting in a corner right were Thousand Needles ends and I believe there was like one quest there that sends you near the area I think. Been so long I'm fuzzy on the details.

jdspencer60: Feralas has that good jungle music too

Blundabus1337: It's always a good day when Jediwarlock released a lore video

TheNewDarkTimes: That was my standard path. I didn't even knew the other one. Every Sunday morning after patch 1.3 I engineer-ported to Gadgetzan. Flew to Thalanaar and rode that path to Dire Maul for our relaxed guildgroup run with at least a tribute run in north and sometimes east or west after that.

toddsikes7292: 20 years ago i played this everyday. i wish i could now

Sindraug25: Since the lake is unnamed, but it feeds into Wildwind Lake and has falls on each end, I say we name it Wildwind Falls.

rikosborne1212: Absolutely one of the most gorgeous zones in classic WoW. I'd call it "old-growth forest" rather than "jungle".

Vdyr_0: yooooo it finally happened. You found something completely new to me after 15 years

Travist120: Hey that's the route I'd usually take when farming DM in SoD. Was a really nice path that you could autorun through sections of and alt tab

-SleepyNurse-: Great video! Took many lil’ dives in that pretty water. The old water graphics look prettier than the hazy water nowadays. Thanks again

Mark-j8x: A beautiful trail through a beautiful zone...in a beautiful game.

kekcrusader4979: I always liked that route, due to the lonely tent and the lit camp fire. Feels like you are close to some other explorers of the wild

moosegoose3159: I must be the only person who uses this road. I always thought the road near the pavilion was too close to Dire Maul and the Grimotem camps, and most quests in the area involve killing enemies around this area.

alenalda: There are similar paths all over stonetalon mtn

m00rtin4: The road from desolace, nijels point to feathermoon is quite legendary.shadowprey village to camp mojache if ur horde player. Entering feralas from the north is peak

Ghost_PM11: I walk a lonely road, the only one that I have ever known. Don't know where it goes, but it's home to me, and I walk alone.

lucamckenn5932: Something of note is that feralas has several graves along the road both off this path and presumably on it. Past expeditions, or perhaps groups of tauren during their exile? Some have tombstones, others just mounds of dirt. An interesting thing to note is that aside from the two faction specific areas, and their respective graveyards, ferelas is unknown and wild to the point that you not only know it's dangerous, but find evidence to such with the previously mentioned sites.
