plus I doubt the Chronicles RTS will be multiplayer focused. It would be primarily focused on a campaign with the lore of WoW, and I bet good customization/arcade like StarCraft had but for Warcraft.

NegativeNeal: The first classic which is now M.O.P. (1.2), Season of Mastery (1.3), Season of Discovery (1.4), Anniversary (1.5). I think they labeled it 1.6 because they did that many new versions of Classic up to now.

nutcrackit7396: I think MoP characters go to retail with everything they earned. Blizzard will set up a recurring vanilla-tbc-wrath cycle with era realms for each of them and at the end of wrath you can choose to go to retail instead of wrath era and keep everything. Blizzard will continue the cycles so long as the popularity outweighs the cost as they will be very low maintenance at that point.

I'm honestly excited for a classic experience but the number of times I have seen characters left in the dust between various classic editions , seasons and whatnot, makes me weary of starting from scratch for the Nth time.
