But now under Calia's leadership he stepped out of the shadows to teach both Alliance and Horde players the art of Necromancy.

Though Belfs and Orcs are my favorite, i would reroll undead just to experience the quests and enjoy the moody atmosphere (i was in dark places those years). I just cant level undead anymore due to how botched the lore has turned from Sylvanas' leading a misfit free undead to FOCUS on Sylvanas, leaving the Undead even more useless

capatej: Maybe they planned to make death knights only for aliance as the scourge attacked on lordaeron and killed their pladins, and necromancers only for horde undeads as some of them were more interrested in this kind of magic while they were alive.

Chris-yu3co: gosh there are hundreds of quest lines that could've spawned huge story arcs and stuff that they've missed out on. So many cases of better writers doing quests than on the main story squad

The Alliance could maybe have used the Embalmer for their Necromancers or maybe Helcular. Blizzard just needed to adjust the quests a little bit. Or maybe not even an undead, we know of living Necromancers too.
