soulsmith4787: Ring of Peace? So many overlapping player physics calculations may be having a knock-on effect. Particularly DH bouncing off of RoPs with Fel Rush. If it was SCK, then something like Starfall from Druids would've been catastrophic. Unless SCK is just that unoptimized. This is why cleaning up the other entities diminished the impact but didn't completely remove the regular stalls.

zextthenomad2916: If I were to take a guess. Monks have an ongoing calculator of how much damage they're taking/Dishing out. Specifically Stagger/Touch of Karma.
Pretty sure the server is trying to calculate all the damage coming out by each DH by each monk popping Stagger/Touch of Karma. Then apply misweaver's abilities on that and each monk is basically doing a thousand calculations per second.

Madnacc: Since people in the comments are blaming AddOns for this, why didn't it lag like this during the other battles? Are Monks that much more reliant on AddOns that they use so many more AddOns than others for this to happen? Or are you saying this was just pure coincidence that Rextroy found those specific 40~80 players with all the heavy load AddOns on the server to cause this problem?
mojoblues66: I've said this a dozen times before here on this channel: the add-ons are causing the server lag. Specifically those addons that collect dynamic data about other players, like spell cooldowns, damage numbers, auras, debuffs etc. The server forces a hardcoded range limit of 20-40 metres depending on the type of data, that's why lagging only starts when everybody is close together.
