The 10 Types of World of Warcraft Players

Revillen303: I believe I have fallen under each of these types of players from my long years playing Wow.

billball8955: Hard core farmer grinder here. Start fresh, level, raid for a year or so. Drop out and just play solo when it gets too sweaty. Don't need the people drama. The big reason I want new content in leveling.

Fr.O.G.: the private server evangelist is right

Redfeather_5784: Seeing this reminds me back during DF, I tried to tank in Freehold for the first time without looking any guide up. Didn't know what to do and had the whole group complaining despite that I was saying it my first time trying to tank.

notaroach: feels like number two is everywhere. Be it in classic, retail, private servers, or all over the internet. literally just made a level one character and yap around the global chat.

Imperator_Alexander: You forgot to say number one will NEVER attack someone less than 20 levels below him

onlystamina5932: Edit: I wrote a huge paragraph thinking I was painted as a homophobic Blizzard hater, describing all the past issues with Blizzard and how private servers are getting sued. Just to be more accurately described as a private server evangelist.

Yeah everything was correct. I love Ascension and would defend Dutch tooth and nail lmao.

sslingo: Love the Asmongold cosplay in the thumbnail

dog_knight: Classic Andy checking in.

mikekrg: One is not included. I for one enjoyed reading quest text/lore and absorbing the atmosphere/storytelling in Wow. Ever since the game drifted from this to just endgame grinding, M with the rush rush timer and competitiveness above all else, I knew it was time to quit.

forkittens: dang, brother. you getting CHUNKY

Bungod: Number 5 feels bit like me nowadays even though I quit WoW before Shadowlands launched

MrBBOU: Music is on point

tmvledzep: Bunny ears transmog guy is usually one of the better players. S keying Male Night Elf is what you gotta watch out for

CrankyCaecus: Mostly a casual solo type player. I like being around other players, but don't usually interact.

jesse8210: I have played a single hunter for 15 years. I still SUCK, but just flying around and getting guns and pets makes me happy

aleksazarin319: bro you made this video like 10 times already

FishTheJim: I am objectively playing Classic Wow right now

Saluuntv: I'd say you missed the "M Andy"-s. The type of players who do nothing but day in and day out log in to do mythic plus. They only raid if they have to for bis trinkets otherwise it's only M on the menu, and look down on anyone who has less rating than them or doesn't engage in M . They clown on anything else WoW has to offer and wear typically either the Darkfuse black coat with dark sunglasses or murloc suit as transmog and are Dwarf or Night Elf players.

Edit: Oh and they use Pepe frog emotes anywhere they can or have it as profile pic.

(If you recognize yourself please don't get mad at me I have no issues with this just wanted to add that you exist :) )

nothingmusic42: i dropped out after Cataclysm, though i've kept up on lore because the Warcraft universe was one of the first fantasy settings i really enjoyed (the other one being Dragonlance), and the RTS games were the first PC games i became obsessed with.

however, when i played, i was very much a #1. i earned every PvP Achievement for my guild, led a fairly decent Arena team, and could spend hours roaming Azeroth in my PvP gear just to randomly kill any Alliance i came across.

nothing more fun than stalking a Paladin in Ghost Wolf form, waiting until he's engaged and his bubble runs out, then smashing his head in with my maces.

cheap? sure. but this is the War in Warcraft, baby. don't like it? get off my PvP server.

For the Horde!

Choco-Mel: Personally I strive for a balance between PvP, PvE and Roleplaying (not the gooning kind).

I enjoy the inclusion of diverse characters, as a queer person who's loved WoW for more than a decade,

it's nice to see characters that are similar to you without it being their whole schtick!

When I am raid leading, I become the gentle parenting mom who calls out my raiders on their faults and mistakes but praise them equally when they succeed.

Now, in PvP, I want to be as ruthless, cheap and opportunistic as possible. I will throw sand in your eyes, I will gank you when you're in a 1v1 and I will complain when they do it to me. That's the way I like it!

And what is there to say of roleplay? Besides that it's great and makes for funny and often emotional memories that last years!

WoW will most likely always be a part of my life and I wouldn't have it any other way!

Thanks for the video Nixxiom, it is a very nice one <3

purpleyamjam5172: What about the WoW player who works too much and spends more time listening to videos like this than actually playing the game?

Blundabus1337: I'm sorry, but the comment about how classic andys are saying that "there is a correct way to have fun" is kind of disingenuous.

If you're having fun in retail, great. If you're having fun in retail pugging M dungeons, uh.... you might need to see a psychiatrist.

hessiansamuraij7634: Too much identity politics in the game for me anymore, they seemed to have given up on making the game for the players and more for their employees sadly, especially in retail WOW but to each their own I guess.

takoyakiorigin3930: gatdaaaammit I'm the #10 & #9

HeartOfAzeroth: Man i see a little bit of everything in me. I don't know if that's either a good or bad thing. Great video Sir

maskoblackfyre: You forgot the Lone Wolf, dude.

Not in a guild, plays alone and only groups up for dungeons, and never speaks unless directly asked a question.

It's the most paradoxical of all WoW players, and there's more and more of them
