So What Do We NOT Want To See In Classic? World of Warcraft

Ngontih: no boosts, no tokens, no bots

outlaw3055: Regardless of how people feel about Turtle, one thing they did right was the distribution of the new content. It made the leveling journey more enjoyable through variety of quality content, rather than XP boosts.

Aribethe: No Incursions.

MadProphetNZ: I think with mounts, one solution could be that, rather than having them as items in your bag, you have a "collection" for them where they go to, but instead of accessing them like in retail you instead need to go to a Stable Master and select a mount to use, which remains as your mount until you visit a stable master again and change it. It keeps some of the convenience of cleaning up your bags, but also adds some friction and makes selecting a mount to use more meaningful

AngryDog938: Classic needs to lean more towards a horizontal progression system

RealLazy00: SoD kept professions relevant. I would want them to lean even more into professions for classic

tw1ZTER: hybrid tax argument inmediately falls off when it comes to warriors lol

victuss1413: limited debuffs on mobs should be removed. i'll die on this hill

Taylor422: I don't want my mount in my bag- I do want a quiver/ammo pack ank, ect.

Darzgul_YT: Just do something for the god damn bots blizzard.

That's ALL you need to do.

Full_Leather_Jacket: No bots.

SmacknPlays: Content should be challenging enough that raw DPS numbers become secondary to actually completing the encounter. Crowd control, pet tanking, and debuffing should all be integral parts of group play. That strengthens class identity, increases the value of diverse group compositions, and pushes back against the individualistic parsing culture that has come to dominate Classic. Dungeons and raids should feel like collaborative experiences where success comes from teamwork, not a competition to see who can buy the most gold and push the biggest number.

Joardee: I hope whatever they’re doing, they just respect the source material and all of us who love vanilla.

euqed: I wasn't ready for that Mario transmog lmao

Shortyland05: Balancing wise, I just want every spec to be at least viable. I'd love to be able to tank as a classic Paladin or be able to level as a Boomkin and not run out of mana mid fight.

DeusVultGamer: They definitely need to emulate SoD and provide tier sets for every role, I.e. healer, tank, and dps for Paladin

Neltherya: Whether they add a collection panel or not, something has to be done about bag and bank space. I don't really want account wide everything.

It's fine for the first year or two but at some point, you have so many different gear sets for multiple situations, be it main spec, offspecs, pvp, "rp", trinkets, useful items like light of elune, consumables, toys, mounts and more. Turtle WoW had this problem. If you played it for a certain number of years, you'd have basically no bag space left. SoD had a similar problem too, after only 1.5 year. There has to be a system that helps with bag space but yes, i'd prefer if everything was "physicalised", having the item in my bank or bags instead of just an icon in a collection tab.

Mounts could be stored at the stables, there are already stables all over the world, maybe add more and make it like a "Bank" for mounts and minipets. You can carry the mounts you ride everyday in your bags but other mounts are stored at the stables.

There could be an extra bag slot on our character specifically for either toys, consumes or reagents. Add a second bank "account" at a higher price or something along the line. That way, you still have the classic way of managing the inventory with some limitations, without making it extremely painful to deal with after a couple years.

GerryReid: Can we have more bots and early access plus boosts from day 1?

Bronwe20: I like the idea of a mount "bank" only accessible at stables, you could do the same with clothing sets. Add a clothier NPC to major cities that can store weapons/armors only but there is no transmog, just extra space to store them. You can save your cool rp gear, but if you want to have access to it in the field you need to carry it around.

Also adding more faction specific classes is a really cool idea. DK being undead only and Demon Hunter being Night Elf only sounds really cool to me.

niram28: - no flying mounts

- no dungeon finder

- removing of silly mechanics like 25 quest log limitation or time wasting flight paths

ryankelly8428: Unrelated side note: Last time I tried this exit lag thing it doubled my latency from 50 to 100

csquared4538: I just hope they actively maintain it. They need to do monthly patches to shape it into something great.

Skarghan: The game straight need a new community lmao

Shuralia141: One of the background songs sounds like it's from Valheim, specifically in the meadows. Great music

bartonbriarbritches3632: Never thought I would disagree with well over half of the list of one of your videos.

anaximander4589: What I would like:

1. classes with clear strengths and weaknesses. More gameplay loops that advantages some classes over others in certain loops over others. Some classes will just be better at raids than others, but the classes that are worse make it up in other areas of the game. The point I am making is that not everything should be about dps. Various playstyles should be encouraged. For example, if you're a rogue, Instead of killing bosses for drops, you can steal it if you meet the stealth check. Sell the class fantasy. Hunters could go on adventures to find elusive pets. Taming becomes a whole process and requires preparation. No more one button press. Taming a pet should feel rewarding.

2. Level Raiding. Not all raids should be end game. It would introduce players into how raiding works, which most players never experience, because they don't get that far.

3. Make level 40 plus zones more polished. Game falls off after level 40 for me and many others.

4. One single mega server or one pvp and one pve server.

5. Slow and steady is right approach.Make every weapon upgrade feel impactful

6. gold deflation and deflation in general.

7. deep specialization within professions to create dynamic economies.

8. Minor balancing. Focus on class fantasy.

9. Better and deeper class quests. 1/4 of quests should be class quests.

10. Like the idea of solo dungeons too for some balance against group play and general self mastery.

11. Healing should be a premium and limited.

12. Utilization of more spells and abilities in rotations.

Just some ideas.

Joskvid: There shouldn’t be a PvP system based on hitting thresholds. Any PvP you do should contribute in some form to progressing you.
