Pointless Top 10 Unusual Mobs in World of Warcraft

Opreich: Ok you missed the third male night elf fact. The Botani use their skeleton/animation rig

cytoid7062: There's a Wolfhawk in Undermine, in the exotic beasts area, in a cage. Not sure how they got it, lol.

EluneAnzu: Fun lore fact about those "weird plant people" they're called Botani, they're descended absolutely massive plants called the Sporemounds, the titan Agramar stumbled on ancient Draenor and basically thought it could use a little yard work so he turned a mountain into a giant called Grond; when Grond fought the sporemounds they infected him with spores and he eventually started breaking down becoming smaller and smaller races until he eventually became Ogres and Orcs, the sporemounds eventually became the Genesaurs (like the last boss from everbloom dungeon) and the Botani. Hypothetically

brandoncastellano1858: It’s so crazy to think I first started watching this channel in cataclysm. I ended up learning that while I did like cataclysm, I liked it more because of your videos and the era it was. Your videos made wow fun for me. And now on, to another pointless top 10!

lordmaldazzar3009: Those bugs you've seen in Maldraxxus also appeared in Vol'dun, and if i would have to guess why do they have that zappy effect, it might have been reference to scarabs in Diablo 2 in act 2 zones, as each time you hit them, they counterattack with bunch of lightning sparks, most annoying thing in entire of diablo 2 game.

justinanderson2631: Deepstriders would be amazing exotic pets to have one day.

moonagelobotomite: man everything Drustvar related is so cool... I started BFA on horde and as soon as I was able to travel to Kul Tiras, I went straight for Drustvar lmao I love the nasty rotting pigmen guys

I think the art direction for the main BFA zones and mobs were just phenomenal all around ... the only things after it that even compare (in my opinion at least) are Ardenweald and Hallowfall

Lohkin: You call it a pointless top 10 but every time I watch one I learn something new and learning new things is never pointless. So yeah I don’t know where I’m going with this. Thanks for the videos.

princembat: idk why but everytime you say 'and thats why i put them at number [whatever number' i just imagine youre winking lol

selasiovec8581: I like to think of the Botani as Bo-Tan-ee. i'm sure that's not how it's pronounced, but that's how I hear it in my head

johntea3278: "This is a better plot line than shadowlands", man you got me on this one with crabs. Excellent video, thank you for this content. You won a sub

WakoDoodle: The tiki mask models are also used in a pet you can get called a "Senjin Fetish" which you can buy from the troll quartermaster in icecrown during the argent tournament.

The pet when summoned will use 1 of the 3 masks the enchanted tiki warrior uses; just without the weapon in hand.

This means you technically have 3 tiki mask pets in one. All you need to do get it is spend 40 of the argent tokens you get from the daily quests there. So pretty much jousting on the back of a horse and fighting the scourge.

MrElpizo1982: I have a video suggestion. Not sure if this is the ideal place but, just something I thought of:

Top 10 most useful mobs to mind-control as a priest.

daniellerogers9671: I remember those dang nymphs for two reasons 1. there's a rare spawn one that drops a pet I could never freaking manage to get during SL 2. they're literally ranishu from BFA with no explanation to why they're in Maldraxxus as well as Vol'dun lol

TheUglyFish: About the npc/mob thing. They used to mean pretty much the same thing (mob being abbreviation for mobile object). In gaming today a "Mob" usually refers to non-named Hostile NPCs like "Defias trapper".

So i would say all mobs are NPCs but not all NPCs are mobs at least in todays gaming language

pholkhero2145: Whenever I watch a top ten I do a chicago accent around the house for a few hours. “Izzaaat your jaaaaket?” “I brought snaacks in my baackpaaack.”

MangaManifaction: Speaking of the Deep Striders, it reminds me of the Fen Striders in TBC Zangarmarsh (and last boss in The Underbog) which I feel are also pretty unusual. I don't think I recall seeing them anywhere else

Langharig_Tuig: Another episode of Crendor enjoys WoD and Maldraxus. Love it

katm8128: Third male night elf fact could’ve been that the botani have their same skeleton, or at least share some animations, such as the kneeling anim showed in this video

MrCasquenoir: Wow retail graphics look really good

stephencorcoran8087: I always thought that the fen striders in Umbrafen were pretty zany. Whacky, even.

Uthic: Not really a mob, but the hippogryph in Orebor Haraborage was always an odd one I remember

M2Mil7er: Number 9 could be called 'Orchids'

buxomboba: As a hunter main, I loved this video! Wolfhawks and deepstriders are two of my favorite mobs<3 Along with the untamable deepflayers... I don't know why they can be summoned as dire beasts but they can't be tamed
