Pointless Top 10 Mysterious Crashes in World of Warcraft

TheJukeboxzero: 6: “Number three…” lol

Great list - loved the Top Ten Planes in Geysers

EluneAnzu: So a fun fact about that zeppelin crash in the wetlands is that it might

AlexeiVoronin: The Wetlands zeppelin crash is very likely a remnant from the Second War (a.k.a. Warcraft II). There was a major battle in the area of Dun Modr, and Goblin zeppelins were used by the Horde as recon units.

General_Cartman_Lee: The Gnome race car crashed in Tanaris actually went through the mountain. It's on the opposite side of the one you showed right before. The black spot is supposed to look like it went right through the mountain and on the Tanaris side you can see a similar spot if you follow the trail.

I still have screenshots from July 2007 of the Thousand Needles race track and both crash sites. I was so fascinated by these details when I went there with my first level 46 character.

jvstice56: Half of those crashes: Goblins were involved. Other half: Gnomes were involved.

Why can't they both be safe engineering races, like Tauren and Dwarves!

VoidXrift: The thought of the first one dying because flying wasn’t a thing is hilarious

GhastlyH: The Stranglethorn Vale zeppelin crash happened during the cataclysm didn't it? It was hit by a tidal wave and impaled on the tree. Or was it there in classic? The rocket car crash in vanilla was a reference to the Bonneville Flats urban legend of a Volkswagen Beetle that was kitted out with JATO rockets in an attempt to beat a speed record but ended up airborne and found later embedded in the side of a mountain.

traviswarden5754: I think the gnomes in Borean Tundra crashed because of the Mechagnome Virus taking over their own oil field.

rowenwolff: Lol I thought this was gonna be a video of top 10 times the game itself has crashed

veskupa: Ugh, those updated gnolls are so soulless.

Linken_88: I think the zeplins in STV and the Wetlands are Warcraft 1 and or 2 Zeplins, and the #1 crash with the missing wreckage and the wreckage in Tanaris is a reference, I think, to the movie (The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension).

magnusvir8: the hole in the side of the mountain with no wreckage and the wreckage on the other side of said mountain are likely the same incident. in one side and out the other.

Immopimmo: Early gang!

FaylunaRaRa: CRENDOR DELIVERS!!! I was scrolling through my subscription feed, almost through it, and thinking to myself "Y'know what I need? Another dose of Pointless Top Tens" and it was there! My cravings will be sated!

zombii95: my favorite crash is walking onto a slightly inclined rock and being getting disconnected

Solo_Traveling: How, how isn't the Zeppelin Crash in Hellfire Peninsula not on this list? It's a hub with quite a few quests and it's the first crash that came to my mind!

AspiringPhilanthropist: There's also a gnome plane at the bottom of the lake in northwest Tirisfal Glades.

Bierbuxe: I think number 2 might be a reference to a pod racer from Star Wars Episode 1 (just like number 1)? But I would have to rewatch that movie to find out what the two gnomes and the fish are about.

Chatbundi: I was looking for something to watch! And the video popped up!

BokkiVA: I love environmental storytelling.

Well the gyser makes sense. They were flying low and got caught by the water/steam going up.

uncleoyster: Isn't the frst one the zeppelin from the Cataclysm trailer? The one that gets whooshed with a big wave when Deathwing flies by?

scarletneptunez: omg im so earlyyy

Infernal_Elf: Fantastic 100! ..........Pure Gold!

GoodDaylea: I’m so excited for this one.
