Shopping Cartspider-queen: Crendor, if Wrathion is sitting in the stool between Right and Left, then for him they would indeed be on the correct sides
Evan-mt7bc: I like the Night Elf Ancient Protectors because those were literally their towers from Warcraft 3 that they'd build to protect their bases
wyvernio9419: Booty Bay Guards absolutely deserve their spot, I've seen so many clips of classic hardcore players accidentally attacking a player there and just getting netted and beaten to death, they're just too iconic.
princeseththescaleless5068: a lot of random npc's have glowing death knight eyes actually, it's a little strange at times, like i distinctly remember a druid worgen having some in kul tiras! and there's an elf with them in a pet store in the updated silvermoon too! it's probably an oversight buuuuut I like to presume that it's DK's who have found new callings in life.
also on the subject of guard giving directions, ive noticed in recent expansions they just say "I'll mark it on your map" instead of giving a description of where or who you're looking for, which is a little disappointing I'll admit.
TedwardBoots: The Gadgetzan sniper is probably an old throwback to when hunters would get on the inn in vanilla and kill people out of the range of the guards in Gadget. That's always how I've viewed those sniper guards anyway.
TheColeTrain777: crendor I love you
FaylunaRaRa: For the basic city guards I think the Undercity guards are particularly worth highlighting, since they could've just done normal undead deathguards everywhere but they decided to do the abominations which is kinda neat...
Non-Negotiable: We need a pointless top 10 TITLES! As a Bloodsale Admiral, it was a pain killing everything in Booty bay. I managed to get the title a few days before Cata came out. I rock that title. It was such a painstaking task! It's up there with Frost Saber mount rep pre Cata.
DIEGhostfish: 1:16 that's just... How Orcs talk. Very direct.
diddydoodat6764: I always thought Left and Right were called that because they're Wrathion's "right hand" and "left hand"
DIEGhostfish: 7:16 WRATHION'S Right and Left, not yours Crendor.
GrokNZ: Favourite guards are the Forsaken guards at the top of the main pyramid in Daza’alor who are somehow stuck mid salute emote so it looks like they are standkng up straight without the usual Forsaken hunched back.
benwilson6256: Npc guards never get enough love. A life of servitude for no attention at all. Bless you sir.
dreim5: Another typical Credor W, and I love you, but brother.. Left and Right are relative to Wrathion, who stands between them facing you.. meaning they’re correctly named
ParabolicVA: The sand elementals jiggle because they use the water elemental base model/skeleton which also jiggles like jello.
Questionable_Meat: 6:47 And then the turtle promptly blows up.
jasonlockwood22: The snipers on the roof in Gadgetzan were put there cos ranged classes used to smash you from the roof and guards couldn't reach you. Tanaris used to be a gank zone so bad.
-Miasimon: Even though they technically can never be attacked by anything and thus don't really "guard", I got a soft spot for the army of demons in the Dreadscar. They're one of the only guards that actually salute you when you run past them.
gustavowagner6618: hell yeah posted right on time to watch before sleep
crabieralloy51: I always loved the Silvermoon guards because they looked so different from your character and it was kinda weird but they also looked cool
Guydude777: I'm giving my number 1 spot to the Night Watch in Duskwood. They've always been proactive against Stitches, plus a lot of them have names! The goblin guards are definitely icons, though.
royfox2010: I think goblin guards in vanilla are so memorable because they guard neutral towns; where you'll DEFINITELY get into fights and DEFINITELY get wooped by them. Neutrality enforces are much more interesting than side-takers.
Cloudyowly: Timeless isle guards are most useless because they dont defent you from gankers they do the opposite
daemon_knight: Modern guards should not be so strong and be able to net you. They shouldn't be stronger than some of the enemies in raids.
Kevkoss: Regarding to Greasemonkey Muscles, considering it's BfA, that DK blue eye glow might be actually result of Azerite usage. They're most likely roided up on that Magni stuff.
Also I think Greasemonkeys are in the quest that unlocks Mechagon - where you need to run around Dazar'alor to promise some impossible things to get few crews before going to Kul-Tiras. And if I recall correctly there's some electrocution involved in that cave in junkyard before you fly to Mechagon proper.
I also seem to recall them from goblin heritage armor quest, but I might be mixing things up here and there was another crew/cartel involved in that one.
spooksprings: Shoutout to Buckingham Palace guards who wear real bearskin hats and are allowed to trample you with horses carrying swords
Pioneer_313: I think the I'm mad as hell quote that the goblin say is from an old movie called Network.
