And now many AAA games are trash these days, driven by passionless corporate greed to maximize shareholder value. Gaming went from “how can we create the best epic gaming experience “ to “how can we integrate the ingame shop into the game and what kind if micro transactions should we add to maximize profit”

BarrettRTS: Since nobody mentioned it in the comments yet, the video was originally released around the time Classic launched but was taken down after everything came out about abuse at Blizzard. Afrasiabi was one of those named at the time and the videos with separate individual developers are still up, where his was deleted along with the full video.
