Kingtot: I hope after The Last Titan, they introduce Warcraft IV. In that game we learn about new characters and such (like Warcraft III), and the game will set up the world for WoW 2.0.

KhonoChronos: Metzen is already working on whatever comes after Last Titan but I don't think it's a "WoW 2" in their own words we're passed "WoW 2" and I don't think it's really necessary either. I think it'd be too many sharks to leap if you skipped 1k years that's pretty much all the OG characters dead and that seems too much of a risk for them to do for their IP.

Smoked1234: WoW 2 isn't really possible with blizzard currently. There is no innovation, easy QOL changes happen 10 too years late. Blizzard couldn't come up with a new idea good enough for a WoW 2. Unless they want it to be like Overwatch 2 (a complete downgrade from OW)

Blizzard is revamping everything, expansion by expansion. Therefore that is your WoW 2.

People collected too many things in WoW, would they throw all that away? Dont think so.

collusion-d4n: i know some of the die hards don't want to hear anything about a wow 2, BUT there are so many reasons as to why it makes sensse. A ton of people who want to play this game don't bc the effort to catch up and learn everything with all there is to this game is a daunting feat. A fresh start, updated modern graphics etc would be huge.. " A simple reset" doesn't garner as much hype as a new release would. Caffèc_CM: We might be getting a WoW 2 but it definitely will not end retail. It will most likely be a completely different game and team focusing on WoW 2. Not sure how they will handle subscription fee's with 2 games. I suppose WoW 2 could be free and rely on modern day microtransactions? My guess of actual game play changes are

- Action combat

- No big grand story

- Simple and less spells for each class with classes sharing some kind of universal skill

DontKnow-hr5my: Wow lost its magic to me after Wotlk maybe Cata, MoP was still ok-ish even if the writing with Garrosh went haywire, but when they started this alternate timeline bs and especially the hereafter, the Shadowlands and so on (which made SO many things nonsensical that existed before), we should only keep these things in muddy waters, it was disappointing on so many levels and i still refuse to see Shadowlands as something that is canon.
