Shopping CartSparda11222: This. This is what made Warcraft great for all of us. Storytelling. Real storytelling and small intriguing details everywhere.
taisyrene4297: Yes Kalimdor please ! I've always enjoyed those little details while questing in wow!
crucifyr2773: Yes do a part 2 for this video, and of course you must do the rest of the world, like you said there are sooo many little hidden places to see and why they are there.
JeremyDA88: I love it when game developers do this. It's a clear sign that they respect the intelligence of the players. That they trust our ability to put these puzzle pieces together and figure out the untold stories without them holding our hands :)
Eyawork: 10:45 shield of stornwind,What I didn't like was Blizzard's lack of precision in banners and separation between groups. Even in the abandoned towers in northern Lordaeron, you have Stormwind flags and not the old Lordaeron flags
Revenge221: Thoridin's Wall to me was always a nod to Hadrian's Wall in Britain.
Though, I believe it was a relic from the days of Arator, where Humanity struggled against the Forest Trolls.
Otterly_luna: It was confirmed in the Rise of the Lich King that the Balnirs were killed by Arthas and not the crusade
jamesio20: As someone who has always loved the visual storytelling in (particularly) older WoW Azeroth, When I first played Elden Ring and subsequently the rest of the Souls/Bloodborne series, I really understood how great it is to be able to understand SO much just from environmental storytelling. It's such a great way to have the player be involved in unraveling the story, coming up with their own thoughts and ideas based on the context clues and item descriptions... everything BUT just laying out the whole story and explaining everything in full. It is so much more satisfying to have some mystery to unravel.
Alexekaj: Yes please do a Kalimdor version! There's so many hidden details from the ancient civilizations to the new Horde developments that tell subtle stories.
ogy19: Haven't been this early in a long time Nixxiom, kudos on topic choice!
CondemnedInformer: I love this stuff, please continue good sir.
fallingstar_official2938: It was dark. Well, dark, mysterious and also bright when needed. They don't know how to write dark stories anymore
witchking1558: I see a new Nixxiom Video, I click!
simonbehrendt-n4w: Stratholme keeps burning because Blood Elf teens keep sneaking there to smoke manaroot and do vandalism.
eodyn7: The modern game has this as well. A certain "classic" percentage of the player base just doesn't pay attention.
frantictoast3741: "Nixxiom continues to milk Classic WoW storytelling thats been covered 30,000 times in the past"
albertgeorgy6827: Wow classic was the elden ring of it's time when it came to visual storytelling. It still is on par with elden ring in my opinion
losergamer8123: As someone who doesn’t care for retail. It has 100% better story telling and detailed zones. Problem is nobody gives af.
dancingdroid: #ArthasDidNothingWrong
Hamuelhocker: Dogshit clutter in retail:
Dogshit clutter in classic:
ClayishFever: Def gotta do one for Kalimdor, so many cool little stories with the caravans in the Barrens, Shimmering Flats, and Tanaris
pB-ri6su: Always like the little one in thousand needles, where the nightelf signpost is tipped over with an axe in it, next to a tauren signpost.
gerhard7988: These videos make me want to log on and go see for myself. Love it.
savitrizuzanka1312: I started to play TBC last week and following your tales
DeanSals1: This was a great video! Please make a Part II for Kalimdor. :)
thomasanderson2551: Glad to see it's not a niche minority who appreciates these sorts of world assets. In my first few years of playing, I always looked for and appreciated these game assets.
NitroBoarder17: Another awesome video. Thanks Nixxiom
