BenCarnage: Hmm I think you're jumping around different areas too much and some of the stuff clearly isn't ideal for your level. The game actually does send you quite linearly from zone to zone a fair bit of the time. In the mid-higher levels you may have to complete two or more level appropriate zones in tandem. Most of the time you want the dungeons, quests and enemies to be just below your own level. Because of how the game deals with chance to miss/resist/aggro range etc you get heavily punished for being underleveled. Jumping around the world also often leaves you lost for what to do and disconnected from the questlines in the regions. For being a pretty open world, there are some very linear lines to just follow. While the game doesn't explicitly tell you how to make this experience simple and painless, it's also not a mystery. Already in your first zones you should notice how much harder quests get when they are equal to or above your level as compared to 1-3 levels below. If I played like you two I'd go insane too xD Thankfully it's very easy to just not do that. Especially for dungeons being consistently underleveled and wipefesting should be a hint that you're doing something wrong.

AZWings: It's the Catch 22 of Classic WoW. The price of a populated world is too many people :-). The game wasn't designed for the numbers of people that are on the Classic servers. This was never a problem back in vanilla because the servers were capped.

Fun series. It's really entertaining watching a real new player go through the content.

PsychoWedge: fucking great series. I had so many memories resurfacing watching this. The last thing you did for Jim to hit 60 is from the og Naxx atunement quests, I think. I still have the lightsaber and og tabard from that on my rogues bank in retail wow, 20 years later and 16 years after it was removed from the game.
