The guy was fantastic and opened so much speculation, about dreadlords - hell - the Shadowlands journal of Nathrezim, gave us the entire espionage plan of theirs, to the light - pun unintended.

If the Light, Void and Fel can change their species (both anatomically or ideology) - who knows how they would look after tempering with Arcane, Nature, Death or Life.

They just made a reskin, gave him few quotelines and after appearing in 1 expansion, 3 expansions later - they kill him off.

Unless "huur duuur, we're one light spy less, time to step out of shadows dread-bros and murk azeroth tee hee".
