randyg280: I think the most likely scenario is blood elves for the horde and high elves for the alliance, mainly because it would be easy to implement, and vanilla sits in a transitional period for them lore-wise; just before they officially joined the horde. I personally want ogres and goblins for the horde... really don't care what the alliance gets.

ncwordman: I think it would be neat to have neutral races. They could choose to either have the races get totally new quests, enough to reach the max level (or maybe just level 30). Or the player could choose to gain reputation from questing within the alliance and/or horde. I know it would take a lot of work, probably too much. But I've always wanted to see it. Plus, alliance and horde characters could leave their faction, and become neutral, or they could switch factions.

seventus: Dude I want Ogres SO bad. Very cool race, full of lore, quest and RP potential. Ogres don't need to have a female version.

Taeryc: Eh, dwarves were pretty new to the whole Paladin part of things, as were Humans really if you think about it - no reason there couldn't be HE in training now - especially as Mehlar Dawnblade was under Uther's tutelage as an example.

I also think Blizzard should embrace some aspects of the old RPG books and the Pandaren and let certain races just "choose" their faction somehow. It would allow HE to split with some choosing to seek out Sylvanas after all, amongst other solutions.
