sinzin5773: I don't think blizz is as worried about the riot mmo as you might think, yeah I think it's on their radar, but I have a feeling blizz is going to be more reactive than proactive as usual. I would be so stoked if this is the route they went, but I don't think so, classic is just gonna be classic with content added and races and zones and maybe one or two things the community hasn't forseen. chainclaw07: 5:10 exactly - if the premise of bloodelves is the enslavement of a Naaru to feed their magical hunger - the alliance paladin orders probably has a Naaru on call... so as a high elf (aka an elf that bonded with the magical wells of the world /magic elf) you get to choose - will you follow the order that became Blood elves and enslaved a Naaru, effectively taking destiny into their own hands and joined the horde or will you join the alliance with small sources of that magical power. alliance shendorei warlocks draw upon demonic energy, paladins have a pact/oath to the Naaru that the SW and IF paladins worship. mages have learned to siphon Arcane energies another way.

ChurroDude: As we get closer to an announcement, I'm starting to come to the realization that Classic will be closer to Wrath than vanilla. Wrath was by far the most successful version of WoW to date. I'm not saying there will be stuff like flying, faster progression, convenience items, etc. But things like classes, talents, gameplay, itemization, and heroic dungeons will more likely resemble wotlk. Maybe even a hybridization of vanilla, tbc, wotlk. I think that's why they launched titan reforged for more experimentation and data gathering.

monocerotis6917: Blizzard has realized there are two different gaming communities: WoW Classic players and WoW Retail players. Blizzard will never split them up; they know they have to create good products for both communities, otherwise there is a high risk that players will flock to private servers instead, and blizzard lose alot of subs and money!! I wrote this before - Wow camelot is new Classic era with uncut scenes from the past, good elements from the best from Tbc and wrath, Sod content.. I hope Camelot give us diffrents of realms from start! i want play Wow classic hardcore mode.

I can guarantee you that WoW Retail will follow the same format as the last BlizzCon, with announcements for three expansions—and likely glimpses of Three Expansion make alot of hype —giving Retial gamers a look at the future of WoW Retail!!
