Classic Changes NO ONE Is Talking About World of Warcraft

Heinous_tv: Starts at 2:30

Sasnak9: I just hope we get a flight point at the Rebel Camp in STV

DanielNYR: They HAVE TO finish the unfinished Missing Ambassador (King Wrynn) questline

CheeseHamburger1: 9:53 YES! Weather and also inky dark nights. I'd love for those to return!

Rinavani: Totem in the relic slot is a pretty cool idea!

RaccChannel: Weapon skill seems like one of the more "harmless" quirks that makes Classic feel like classic. I do agree that the trainers could have more utility though - I'd like if they could give a quest to high-level characters that upon completion brought an associated skill up to a "usable" level for high-level characters. It could be a cool add to the world AND help solve the issue of having to spend forever grinding low levels of a new weapon you got from a raid.

fankrys: I'm against removing weapon skill. It add the rpg layer that make the game feel so immersive. Please don't transform wow into a pure action game. For the same reason I like all the "inconvenience" of hunter pet. Meaning it keep it's level when you tame it, he's unhappy and rebellious at first and you must slowly gain its trust. You have to feed it, and you must learn new tricks be you teach them to your pet.

MuppetLord1: A fourth specialization for each class that is race bound would be fantastic.

squirelsniper97: I hated the order halls. Also biggest things for me is more quests, finishing areas that have less to do, and make crafting more impactful as you level up. Some people are doing crafting only challenges on hardcore and the amount of weapons you get for blacksmithing is so few and far between as you go. Also making cloaks, and making rings would be sweet.

Dmayrion2: They should add a button that hires GMs and removes bots.

shikimori9467: As for the class order halls thing, I feel like Druids need that little something that makes them more special to be honest. : p

TheEvilsizer: I would love more unique abilities based on race/class combos, I'm so glad you mentioned that. I still dont understand why they would have ever gotten rid of that on priests. Homogenization = boring.

Optimus-Prime: They should introduce a new profession. "Woodworking" and you collect wood scraps around the world and from floatsams. You craft staves and bows and other trinkets or something... I think it would be pretty cool.

Mep-Bruno: Nameplate range could be fixed by letting it as it is in Vanilla but outdoors you have max range nameplate visual (40yards), indoors the nameplate reduces to 20 yards only to non targeted npcs/players.

So indoors when you target you get 40 yards, without a target you have a 20 yards default, and outdoors is always 40 yards, Blizz can even make some way to outdoors your target get more visible by opacity or nameplate size or different model.

Moth-1077: I’ve said it once, I’ll say it a thousand times (been saying it since 2004). Don’t try to balance pallys and shamans against each other it will never work. Give horde death knights which are basically just paladins with a horde coat of paint and give alliance spellbreakers which are just shaman with an alliance coat of paint.

francoporto409: I always thought Hunter should be different for each races.

It’s not RP an Elf with a Gun

Not RP for a Dwarf doing Arcane Shot which is originally more a Tyrande spell.

Not RP explosive trap for Elf

Hunter should be available for Undead as a Dark Hunter with Dark Arrows

Etc etc.

Hunter has so much to improve I can provide a long list.

porcu12345: Troll hunters should get to throw spears or use throwing weapons like in the warcraft rts

HarryKiralfyBroe: Its Blizzard 2026 - I fully expect Classic Plus to be a cluster f@@@ up of epic proportions.

solipsismworld: Thumbs up on weather!

WadeAllen001: What I definitely want for Classic

-New zones (done in the style of Classic, no re-uses of zones from other expansions)

-Finished questlines for those ones that just end (like the Eranikus trinket or the Morrowgrain/Fandral's corruption questline)

-More quests for zones that are lacking/feel unfinished

-Class quests for all classes throughout the entire level range (which really feels like their intention when you play those earlier class quests, but they just ran out of production time to make everything they wanted, like how the druid quests have one for bear form and aquatic form, but nothing for cat form, dire bear form, or travel form, and how they talk about how your real training will begin in the Emerald Dream. I would bet they planned on doing a high/max level druid quest in the Emerald Dream)

-No flying, ever

-Keep (or even add more) spell reagents

-No alliance shamans or horde paladins, ever (faction identity matters)

-Horizontal progression

-No further race/class combos (the originals keep each race feeling unique and flavorful)

But hero classes (actual hero classes, like pathfinder prestige classes) sounds cool too. Though I do disagree with you on weapon skills. They're a cool RPG element that I think should stay in the game. The game needs those kind of grindy old-school RPG aspects to keep feeling like classic and not slide into the quality-of-life-improved-to-blandness territory of retail. I actually wish the game would have class skills in the same sort of way. It's always been weird to me that your class skills exist, seemingly like weapon skills, but then they just auto-increase by 5 every time you level up. It would be cool if using your skills increased your class skill levels just like how it works with weapons.

rubekitchen: I see a WillE notification I gotta watch

Sungodsoqs: 11:00 think of it like getting a driver's licence.

You give the trainer some gold, and get your licence to use/carry those weapons.

Still have to level it up, nobody gets their L plates and is as proficient as an F1 driver.

VRkyuko: idk if its there already but a quest item bag would be nice

wolowookie: I love this totem idea! Feels very DnD to have unique class/racial flavor

scienceboy20814: I like weapon skill

RavenLordGrimm: at 8:30

Very early alpha had int give spell power. it got removed due to reasons.... but like casters really need it to scale.

dg-dm1rr: Nameplates being only 20 yards is a big part of what makes the Vanilla world dangerous tho
