demo7137: Max lookin like Seth Rogan these days
raggu1614: The cooldown manager that got released is a good baseline for the final product. That it seems like they didn't even realize, from what I thought I understood of the dev comments on how it was received, people would want to move/scale individual icons or change what icons were displayed at all is honestly the concerning part.
My fear is that, like the cooldown manager, they will axe addons when they think
fetzie23: I use it for dpsing on healers, saves keybinds and valuable real estate on the primary action bars.
GarenShaw: Destroy all combat addons starting in Midnight from the start, no exceptions (I know they wont lol). But in my opinion, they need to remove all combat related addon functionality and drastically reduce and re-think all class abilities (there are way too many buttons, also less buttons doesn't mean boring or slower, just more important and impactful). That last point aint going to happen until probably the first expansion after "last titan". If they can do those things, plus fix inflation (costs millions to raid or do m each season, at least at any competitive level). Hmm what else, manage player time better (probably an impossible task though).
At least try to work on those things and I'll be happy, so basically I'll never be happy and I should just ignore wow and keep playing other games. I don't hate wow, I love wow, I will probably always love wow but after 20 years of playing I don't think I can or am willing to return to the game (stopped playing at end of Season 1 of The War Within, with a minor break in Shadowlands, other than that played wow for like 16 hours a day).
alycynde5237: I'd expect the sunset of the combat addon to start when Midnight drops and by the time we're midway between s2 and s3 they'll flip the switch and the curtain drops. That would give plenty of time to get used to the new styles of fights and (hopefully) classes and selectively start to shut down functionality until 0-day.
arcaminogaming: Ultimate Content: Can Liquid clear a mythic raid using nothing but the one button rotation?
GorehowlBeardhead: The Alt ease-of-access is a really good point actually
I'd never touch OBM on my main (mage) but if I suddenly pulled out a DK or War or something that plays fundamentally differently, it'd probably help me play better while I learn
jasonjadofsky8360: single button is sick. being in the top 10 on the metter was nice, and felt good.
Iceburg2355: Some of this stuff is definitely coming in midnight lol.
Like its not as far away as he thinks
kennethvannorwick3557: I just use the one button on my evoker because I am a preservation main, and I don’t want to play that in delves. So I one button dev my way to victory.
andreass6275: Use one button all the time when playing dps off spec or on alts vs main healers. Definitely not learning dps rotations as healer main so it’s nice to have this option when not playing healer
UnicornHunterD: Something like Hekilli or the assisted highlight option I think are necessary almost because of the amount of buffs in the game. Go hit a target dummy and look at the 10-20 buffs you have while yolu are in your rotation. Its absolutely stupid. You only use certain skills when x,y, z are not up or you have e amount of stacks on it. For BM hunters I imagine a lot of people have taken kill shot off their bars completely. No casual player is going to know that a core abilty that procs is not worth using. Why does it exist? Why can it proc and light up if you dont use it? Most people are not going to get a weakaura to tell them when their bloodthirst crit chance is high enough that its worth using. I really dont like the state of the game but using addons makes it manageable. Its all blizzard created problems then they are constantly reworking the bad systems they forced on the game. I wonder if someone at Microsoft is aware of how wasteful blizzards wow team is. If they need to cut spending why fund a team that puts the dragonflight talent trees in then forces hero talents on top? Its a fulltime job trying to balance and rework them. That is time and money they can spend on something else. All for something nobody asked for in the first place. 2 hero talent trees is not as bad as 4 covenant trees but its not far from it. They said they never wanted to do borrowed power again but then created an evergreen system that is as bad as the borrowed power.
noaboa5670: They dont need to kill addons but they need to remove some of the access and potential for illegal scripts plater and weakauras can provide
James_Johnson79: Someone complaining that the one-button made them interrupt fists of fury.
S3Ri0usOG: Another year with the same OP specs again and again, the only ones that have developers at this point and people still waiting and hoping for a company to see their comment somewhere in the forums, in youtube or wowhead to rework/buff their class/spec Do yourselves a favor and unsub, don't let them make you play what they want. Let them exist with only the fotm rerollers playing. Gather your friends and invest time in another game that lets you have fun and enjoy what you like.
gavin3895: no shit
TheFeintNASS: max lookin swole
nathanslijkhuis7159: addons and macro are destoying wow, if you would remove it a lot of players would be shit. that's why they are thinking in the eu gameing law to add this, "inhansing skills that people cant do" so basically cheating because they cant do all the butter that fast
