jackierenee1691: Funny thing happened with housing. We have a guild member who didn't want his house. He bought the plot just for giggles. When he saw how much the crafted and rare decor was going for on the auction house, he changed his mind. His plot is still a plain Jane, but he has talked non stop about how much gold he has been making from all of his alt's profession decor pieces that he's been crafting. He's been joking about making a little custom sign on his plot that says "housing decor vendor"

Advon: It's also almost comically easy for the devs to maintain. New decor pieces? They make new worldbuilding assets every expansion, just decorify it and sprinkle it into vendors and achievements. Endeavors? Somewhere between a WQ and a seasonal event, and a good backlog of them takes the pressure off designing new ones.

And that's it. Everything else is new feature ideas, giving them an easy "We've heard your feedback" button to hit.

isellcabbages7143: I am not really doing much housing stuff, it’s not for me. But dammit if I wont be happy for everyone else who housing has been a blast for! So many people love it, and so many people are enjoying it to the point that they started playing WoW again for it! In between time walking dungeon runs, I go to the guild neighborhood and hang out in my friend’s garden/picnic area with them while we all do bio breaks and grab drink refills and such.

Housing may not be for me, I’m creatively bankrupt when it comes to all of this. But I’ll be damned if I am not happy for all the people who are having the best time in WoW since this came out :D keep on having a blast!

cyfrexd7228: Housing really needs a way to search and visit neighborhoods by name. It would let people promote custom events and invite others via general chat instead of neighborhoods feeling a bit isolated from one another .

FFXIV does this well - DJ parties advertised in main cities really boost community engagement . I hope WoW adds something similar.
