First of all, huge thanks to Meytrix for taking the time to check us out and make this video!

Just wanted to drop by and say that Velaris, our brand new fresh WotLK realm, launches August 29th at 18.00 CEST!

It's basically a fresh start with everything we've built and learned from Valyndor already there from day one, while also also starting to add some Velaris-specific stuff (with PvP Days being the first new feature).

And yep: still no shop, no donations and no P2W. The whole project is open source too.

We're a small community, so don't expect me to pretend we're launching with 10k people.

The goal is simply to get a good bunch of people together, have a fun fresh launch and see where we can take Velaris from there.

If you're thinking about joining, come say hi! And if you've got questions about the realm, feel free to drop them under this comment - I'll be around answering them too.

fankrys: I'm not gonna lie, it's yet another wrath server. I welcome it, it's great that it is closer to a blizz like and i wish it well. That being said, i am at the point where i am looking for wrath server where dev take a risk with custom features, like the one stormforge had before they shutdown.

mossyfoxy: website's full of AI slop, advertises crossfaction which means probably pve server (they dont mention the realm type anywhere, again, probably means pve server), advertises "race masquerade" which i would assume lets any race look like other race without changing the racials (this is just reverse racial swap so i guess we need crossfaction because 90% of the population will play human). HARD pass

turinhorse: Oooooh this got me interested. Blizzlike with great options. Do we know if "Race Masquerade" means racial passive swapping? That's my biggest problem with wrath .. the racials are sooo unbalanced like I would never play Forsaken or Tauren or Night Elf cuz their racials are awful

Anjelica_Zero: Have you talked about Triumvirate? I have played there on and off when I have had time, and I really enjoyed it. The devs and community are very nice, and the druid forms are <3 Race-specific. (Some are better than others). Pretty small player base, but I don't mind.
