SWTOR DEVS JUST SHOCKED ME!!!

TheNebdar: The Legacy Lvl cap should be the same as actual character lvl cap.

Thandar324: Been a long-time legacy player and stepped away for a bit. The news about the features coming in 8.0 already had me interested again… but hearing they’re finally raising the Legacy level cap past 50 (and adding new perks) is what really pulled me back in. That system’s been stuck for years while everything else kept moving. Seeing them actually invest in it again feels like the kind of long-term respect that brings old vets home.

Looking forward to logging back in when 8.0 launches and grinding those new Legacy levels. Thanks for the rundown, Boomy.

hanesate: Sadly I think a return to class stories is just never going to be in the cards...but I'm still holding out hope for at least separate force and tech stories for each faction that involve some of those associated class story companions and that are supplemented with a class story specific side quest here and there.

Darthpicklelord: Boomy is banging out the awesome videos! Glad they are doing something with legacy.

kubrick5073: The character level cap increase has never provided anything but bloat in the worst ways imaginable. bloat, bloat more bloat and imbalance. Rushed, poorly fleshed out ideas for new talents and abilities. There should be other ways to unlock things and power up in expansions. And when health and damage numbers start going into 5-6 digits it feels far less satisfying and familiar and difficult to make sense of. It feels infinitely more satisfying to score a 3k crit on your max level character than doing 952134 damage on a target that has 6987563 health. I'd hope they dont go that route but i know they will and we'll just have to deal with it

kirtwilson49: Date nights are stupid lol

srednaz: Swtor would be dead as a game if it was not for the Star Wars connection. Imagine another mmorpg where the devs acted like this, the community manager hated half the fans and refused to talk to them, and the "new" content was just recycling old content and calling it new, while charging you 15 dollars a month and no new expansion in 4 years.

deszaras3: I'm on PTS everyday

kirtwilson49: I’m glad to see the extra 10

Levels but would like to see a vendor you could go to and reset to start it over like a call of duty prestige

actchickcee: I just don't understand how people can see all of the updating to systems and the game engine, and still scream that that sky is falling. A company is not going to put that kind of time and effort into a game that is creeping toward the chopping block. I'm excited to hear about the legacy perks update though, those few you mentioned sound pretty useful. I'm a little sad about the Date Nights, but I do understand they aren't for everyone. I just like Vector and I like decorating so the decos are a thing I look forward to.

briandeckard6566: yeah the Legacy thing is definitely a plus hope they do things to bring back the pvp'ers like myself i really love SWTOR pvp

jerlstif: Exactly they gotta have something cool man like some bad ass mounts maybe a trans mog set something

SteelHornGaming: i hate to be the one to say it but they said in the stream yesterday there will be no extra rewards for difficulty modes only the venture toons when make and the diffculty modes reduces xp gained so it forces you to do the side quests

Zororyu500: I just want to go back to being a bounty hunter and not mega savior / super commander of the universe. I just want to hunt people down for credits. Why is that so hard. Bring back class stories! … but the legacy thing is nice.

Tryonus: Downloaded the PTS after the Livestream - created a quick JK - Put it on MASTER for the normal story's - Got Shae Vizla for lvl 1 heals as you do - apart from talking longer to level up, its quite --- BORING! --- good god there's no point to it - no extra rewards just the same old same old - yes it takes longer but whats the point to that?!? - if you what dark souls play though go play Dark Souls.

Sorry ranting, I know its PTS blar blar blar but still, there's no point to Vet/Master on Story at ALL - hoping the ventures will be better.

ColDylanG: It only makes sense to have the difficulties affecting phases. It still allows players to experience stuff normally but gives that challenge to players who want something new.

Cynane27: Missed you Boomy

midgardz6806: Need Chat bubbles with an option to turn them on and off.

Mike_W78: Adding difficulty to the overworlds is nice. I’m a long time lord of the rings online player and they added this feature years ago. It makes it much more interactive. You have to really pay attention and learn rotations. This is a good idea IF they make it worth it.

Obibees1: Glad to see legacy bar moving ...this should be more frequent...they could add little fluff perks or extend hover boot duration, anything just keep it meaningful. Wonder will it retroactively look at hours invested and boost or will it only move with further play (I'd imagine the latter but that is ok). Boomy I think its a reach to think they will touch class story but we can live in hope after all Rebellions are built on Hope. Love your videos/reels/nonsense...keep it lit.

Rabbid_Outside_Cage: I still think that they should lock some of personal story progression from players by flashpoints, like merging story and team flashpoints together into one and making a requirement for players to finish some before next story chapters unlock.

For example The Esseles/The Black Talon flashpoints should be required to be finished for unlocking story in Coruscant/Dromund Kaas (just removing shuttle options for players who didn't finished Flashpoint would also work).

For "MMO" there is not enough of it in SWTOR's old content if there is no challange and players can do everything solo.

More so, even entire separate reward track of "Mentorship" could be added, to encourage veteran players to join instance content with new players and teaching them mechanics.

lordzox5926: I have played swtor since it's inception. my dad got offered the closed beta somehow. and he let me play. I was 11. swtor was my escape in all of my most developmental years. I'm 27 now and got kinda burnt out after spending more than half of my life on swtor. and yet.... swtor classic, difficulty modes, and new legacy stuff? for the first time in probably a few years, I'm excited to be playing swtor. I'm excited to get into it. swtor classic will let me relive my CHILDHOOD. we. are. so. back.

daniellebcooper7160: Legacy experience boost sounds good...a step in the right direction

japkap: Hope they remember there is a crafting system as well that is my big gripe with them, legacy is awesome they are adding more of that, but i want the actual crafting to matter again i loved making crystals and gear back in the day for people.

charliebass7814: Well, this gives me a reason to level up more than just a select handful of 80s now. Been Wondering when they might finally expand LLing. As to more class story I say oh yeah. Getting tedious doing a 1 size fits all (in spite of the odd nuance).

akarisaberwolf8762: Still waiting, patiently, for swtor to go onto consoles.

VoldskiDK: Just wish they would done something for us who had class stories being the big draw, maybe add like new companions with their own stories and new zones add class based approach to recruited them or. Just wish we could get like OG class stories plus I honestly wouldn't mind buying it onto my character free play account if they did like cartel coin DLC or whatever, it was just class stories made SWTOR fun for me now its gone only revisit when itch to redo class story comes around. But do still keep taps on what is going on watching channels like this to see if there is positive news, think difficulty thing seems like good change.

But would so love class mission addon we could buy with new companion and some side quest attached to them maybe new locations assuming they would do something for those of us that loved class stories.
