CrimsonCrusader69: I would like to see some non force focused storylines, I have a Trooper and bounty Hunter that I refused to take through the Revan and Kotet story because it made no sense to me they would be sent to take on Valkorian, I've levelled them from 50-80 through FP's instead. Even the current story having a large Mandalorian element should have appealed to the BH, but it's still about Force stuff, and I can't really skip kotet because the game just makes the choices regarding companions for me.

Melas6289: Honestly, I'm a bit pessimistic. Glad the game is still getting updates, but the balance is completely off right now. It feels like it's been forever since we had any PvP-focused content. I just really hope the new planet and operation are actually good, and not just added for the sake of pushing out an update.

Additionally, I wonder what influences will be at play here. Are there still story-tellers at Lucasfilm or have the activists embedded themselves deep into that process and seek to 'modernise' things despite it not working for the Disney movies and TV shows ?

In time, good stories will be told again. I'd like to believe now is that time.

bubyCZ: Finally, proper difficult for storylines... depends on the execution, but I have been waiting 10 years for this ... but the "reward" for "clasic" leveling should be the bloody progress of the leveling and gameplay... not some shoved-in powercreep gear -.- that defeats the purpose of the mode for f sake... If you need rewards for the ventures, be it stronghold and vanity stuff, not gear - getting power gear goes against the entire premise of why finally do these diffs in the first place.

PWReviews: I’d rather them not call it an expansion. Because if they do, people will expect more from them and on release the same disappointment could happen when the previous 7.0 “expansion” happened.

So atleast we’re getting expansion type content for 8.0 but keeping expectations low as I’d rather not expect much but then find much more than thought. If that makes sense.

As they’ve said “expansion” before with onslaught and then we got a very short story and not too much else. I remember a lot of disappointment, so atleast they are not setting themselves up for failure.

seangalvin7696: I'm still not convinced that we've seen the true end of the current story arc, I mean the last scene that we were in, was Malgus saying 'break free' as we were just striking him and yet, Jadus fly's away in that Tie Fighter and Magus somehow on the throne after we fight through that memory trap and where was Tau, very strange no bodies in the immediate area around Darth Nul's machine.
