Shopping Carthanknorris5642: I started playing approx a year ago and really like it. They just need to clean up the graphics a bit and have more class-based missions to tackle in the endgame and it can hopefully continue. I say continue because it depends on Broadsword.
gallendugall8913: still angry that they got rid of build options (back in 2012 or 2013) so everyone would be forced to play a multiplayer optimized class
miss my TK Jedi, that was fun
not optimal, always someone in multiplayer complained about it, but it was fun
Heiirloom: If you liked the kotor games, this will scratch that itch like nothing else
oni1608: I played Swtor many years ago when it first launched back in 2011. I've dipped in and out of it over the years. It is a fun Star Wars game, and yes, it can be played solo.
doc6084: Off and on for a few years now and I finally got legendary a couple of months ago. I can’t wait for DX12, if they can get that down and then get some more build potential into the game it’ll be so great.
I know we will probably never get it, but I really truly hope we get a new combat style for each class. Or at least a new tech and force combat style w/ reskins for Imp and Pub side. Again, it wont happen probably but I can hope
nunoleitao1231: Best mmo of all time. I still play it
poisonswtor: Nice video, we absolutely need more people to join in 2026, game is great in so many ways <3
1nchr15t7: I really like the seasons, I do the season on 3 different servers because the Cartel Coins you can spend in the in game Cartel store for cool cosmetics for your characters stack on your account. You can get 2k plus cartel coins per server.
1nchr15t7: I’ve got nearly 5000 hours in SWTOR.
Evantrop: You presume there are limits to swtor. There are none.
1nchr15t7: If it wasn’t Star Wars I wouldn’t play it at all.
mavendorf121: i have been playing swtor since its beta days. tested it in the closed beta 3 times. and ive played the entire game since day 1 of its launch. and i still love the game. there are so many hidden nuggets / easter eggs in the game that even to this day ive not fully discovered all off. and the current playable races are fun as well. i do wish broadsword/bioware would add newer playable races.. such as the actual echani race. or zeltron.. falleen.. kashiri. and kel dorian. and thing is far as the kel dorian go in relation to the game. as far as not them being playable currently well we have to face facts. swtor has been running on dx9 for years an years. the devs are now implementing/testing dx12 which they themselves have said will allow them to do so much more with the game far as new features they wish to add etc. yes first they will be focusing on new visuals etc. but once that is done. there is no reason why they cant do more complicated playable characters such as kel dorian. and yes ive heard people on swtor forums say. "well they wont add kel dorian because x y z. and yet there are planty of ways they could get around the current hurdles in terms of that. people say ooh they wont do it because they would have to redo every line. no they wouldnt. simple just add a modulated effect into the face mask of the race. they have done it with tol braga. and gnost dural so thats a moot point. people say ooh wont do it because the character models have to be human yada yada. again currently yes. future false. they could find ways of doing it. point dx12 is completely new coding etc it opens a whole realm of possibilities for the devs. i have my opinion. and everyone else has theirs. thats fair enough.
anyway much with what talan said. the game itself is fantastic even after all these years. if you love star wars and its rich lore. then this game is for you. so what are you waiting for. download the game. its free.. and give it a try. what have you got to lose in giving it a go?
stephenpitts4793: I keep debating if I wanna pick this back up or not. I’ve already beat three out of the eight stories the agent the inquisitor and I forgot but I think it’s the dark Jedi knight.. I do have a question if I do pick this back up anyone who’s played the good stories which one has the best actual story in character development because so far agent was my favorite story.
kylen9954: Its a great game but there is a lot of pay to win so....
Echluta: Look, SWTOR is good for star wars fans.
I was lucky and got into star wars because of swtor, but i can't reccomend it because of the graphics and gameplay
mormosplaysgaems: I just started playing a sith sorcerer last week and im loving it
SUNY4T4: Played years ago. Lost the account due to getting a new phone so losing my security key. Tried to fix it but never gotten it back. Pretty sure it’s gone now and I no longer have a PC so
gadsdenflyer7353: Played with a few friends from WoW when the game launched and had fun for a few months before they moved on to something else. Ive played solo on and off again since then. Its a lot of fun for a short while, but it wears out in the end.
Lotiondemhands: wating for the console announcement release that's y I'm not playing it i rather wait for the obvious once that direct 12 comes into play since wizard 101 did very well on console for it launch and was a top Xbox game they see the success they can have no way they don't put this on console after all this time and there been rumors they been working on it for few years
darthdesidus4361: The only reason I haven’t been able to play is because I only have a Mac. I don’t have a PC. I have been dying to play this game.
WerDaNinja: I tried to get back into it but it gets very boring very fast considering how easy the game is, there's no challenge at all. Really wish they'd provide a higher difficulty options
Gegota82: while it is 100% free to try, I always recommend people to subscribe for at least 1 month, because honestly, the F2P experience isn't the best, but once you subscribe, after the sub runs out, you become preferred and that is a much better F2P experience. if you don't mind the restrictions, then by all means, play the hell out of it for free, I don't like them, but I've never experience them myself because I started back in early access when it was subscription only, so I've never been F2P, but I've seen what it is and I hate it and therefor recommend what I do.
LordAboveAII: I find the combat extremely extremely boring. I enjoy the story, but I hate how much filler stuff i need to get through to get to that story. not just skippable sidequests or world events or places i can fast travel past but the storylines themselves always drag on. You have to go talk to your boss on the core planet then travel through multiple maps to get back to your ship to talk to someone else on your holonet to go all the way back to talk to your boss to then have to travel to 3 different planets and fight through waves of nobodies to "put the pieces together" to finally get to something really interesting just for that to last 5 minutes before you are off hunting nobodies again, and if it was just that last problem i could look past it and enjoy it for what it is but that on top of the terribly layed out time wasting quests, the sloggy combat system, and just how old the game feels makes me just not interested even though i know there is an interesting story that i would really enjoy.
Ive started 4 characters the first one was a smuggler and i played through the whole base game, it was a slog but i enjoyed how funny the smugglers story was and decided i wanted to try the dark side and started a sith inquisitor story and was excited to finally play with the force and use a lightsaber and thats when it sunk in on how repetitive the gameplay felt it was just new animations pasted over the same combat style nothing changed or felt like it mattered and then the excitement of playing through that character faded and i quit. Then i remembered the game about a year or so later decided to try it again with another sith warrior felt the same after the first act of the story quit. Then this year ive been craving star wars content so bad i decided to grit my teeth and try to get through the imperial agent story which i really really enjoyed mostly because the class had a stealth feature which allowed me to skip most of the sloggy combat but that storyline is so riddled with the "Talk to this person and go here to go back" bs i was talking about that it somehow managed to make that feel like a slog too. i got half way through act 2 before deciding that Im bored with being bored.
I really tried to love swtor, I wish I could but at some point you just gotta realize not every game is made for you.
OpticCrown: force unleashed is better i rather play that
LobsterEnthusiest: i couldn't figure it out, I hate reading
