AsherEntropic: Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if this game took until 2028-2029 to fully release. If the studio was just formed, a lot of logistical frameworks are likely still being ironed out and dev cycles for high fidelity games are already crazy. If they're a smaller, high agility studio, maybe sooner. That said, excited to see The Old Republic isn't dead.

Having said that, there's been so much Star Wars disappointment lately, I will never let myself get super hyped for it. There's nothing I would love more than this game to be amazing. Keeping my fingers cautiously crossed.

hansdecatur9031: I absolutely loved KOTOR back in the day and played through it multiple times. I kinda enjoyed KOTOR 2 even more, but i only finished it once. I never got around to playing TOR. Im excited for FOTOR, but Im trying to keep my expectations in check, since theres a good chance it will head in a new direction and wont have much in common with the old games. Similar to a lot of the newer Star Wars titles.

bladesuun: Just for full transparency, Casey Hudson is also the person who pitched Anthem, led Anthem for three years, then departed from the Studio and came back several years later to lead it again for another few years. Creating Anthem as a live service game was his idea. He called it the future of storytelling. I like the guy too, just saying, his name on something doesn't mean it will turn to gold. He also led Mass Effect 4 for several years before he departed again, so who knows if that game is in shambles now too. Probably is.
