I have so many Cartel Coins from loyal years that I bought every unlock, have preferred status, and all expansions (subscribed for one month to get the last one), so the game now feels like when I was a regular subscriber. I'm happy that SWTOR is still going strong with an awesome community. Great times as a solo player or with randoms — always great fun. I'm old-school SWTOR, so I don't use anything new (like changing class and all), but I'm still rocking the old system and using the old combat roles for companions. Love it like in the beginning! Have a nice time, guys!

Ian-wq3vg: time for the bi-yearly rewatch of the "is it worth returning to SWTOR" video, glad to be motivated to come back from this game for what must be the 10th time now. played it for the first time in 2014!

Krikario: I've started the game right after it got transferred to Broadsword. I am someone who is solely playing it for the storylines, max leveled in my male Sith Warrior in all expansions except for the last one and finished the Class story in my male Jedi Knight. I love this game with all my heart for that sole aspect and I've recorded all my play throughs in many of my various class gameplays. Compared to players who do not enjoy the expansions, I actually love the fact that we've become this grand leader who has their own thing going on which is intertivined with the entire galaxy's fate as this precious asset everyone wants on their side . I have no problem with the expansions as long as my character gets their own unique voice and dialogue options.

Whelp OK maybe except for Nathema Conspiracy. God I hate that one and how incompetent it made the characters feel. I think the destruction of the entire Eternal Fleet was very unnecessary. I know that my SW would have absolutely replaced the AI pilots (by force) with his own people from the get go and that still is my own headcanon up until to this day. Moreover, for all the other classes I think none of them would have taken that power for granted either after the destruction of Zakuul in the final battle. We really had to forcably take that L alright.

With that being said, it does make me sad that they had diminished the amount of voice acting tramendously in the recent expansions. I think my biggest pet peeve would be that. After all this is a very character driven game, and I dislike the fact that they thought they could Baldur's Gate it and be done. I don't think it doesn't work for this game after having listened to my characters speak for such an extensive amount of time .

Mumen_Rider85: I never was hardcore hardcore SWTOR player, more of a class story on repeat type of player (havent finished half of stories from expansions I owned) but this game always had special place in my heart and I get an urge to return to it from time to time (not related to the subject but its pretty much same with other soloish mmo i loved in the past - secret world legends).

Some changes do seem neat like not being forced to grind too much to keep up with levels. But on the other hand I miss the days game was harder. I actually remember few places I got stuck in the story because grind few level higher would take ages and meanwhile some fights in class story areas were too hard. It wasnt ofter but it did happened with few class quests for me. It annoyed me back then but now I miss it. I miss the feeling i have to heal between fights and think about strategy depending on what enemy I face, what cc to use on who and such. Back then when I finally got to the boss of the story and defeat him/her I fealt so powerfull (or rather that my character is). Now killing enemies is so easy it should make you feel even more powerfull but for me its reverse - everything I acomplish feels cheap and pointless. You can run through entire planet butchering every enemy group along the way and not having to rest once.

That is one of the things that stop me from installing game again. I know that after few fights i will be bored with mindlessly slaughtering everything i see, even loot doesnt matter when everything is so easy you sometimes forget to gear yourself up. I know dificulty changes probably made game more accesable to most, it did help me finish all the class stories I probably never would if game stayed harder (one or two was challanging enough, i would have no fuel for 8).

If you never played this game - try it. Worst class stories are still better than some single player crpgs, and best class stories are very well written and pretty much rival kotors. Id even say its worth to try and finish all of them to compare them. But for me who even after several years since I finished either class story still pretty much have them carved in memory story alone isnt enough to keep me going when gameplay itself is meh because games is ing reviewer dificulty level. Chalange is fun:P

And its a shame because I am curious of how those changed planets look now and some other changes, but I doubt that alone is strong enough reason to make me instal swtor again...

sydanus1866: I just came back earlier this week. The last time I played was shortly before the Onslaught expansion was released. Suffice to say, I have a lot of content to go through since then.

Loving all the quality of life changes and improvements they have done while I’ve been away. I’m especially grateful they have finally combatted the ridiculous inflation and economy on the GTN!

I can’t wait to get back into endgame PvE content and finally complete my longtime NiM/MM Operations goals.
