Cyggdrasil: i can understand Shae Vizla looking like that considering she's in her 50's or late 40's, Lana on the other hand is the same age as our custom char mid 30's and should not look like that at all. i for one would tell them to redo it so that Lana actually looks her age.

swcentral: After working with the game assets for the last year, I can confirm this is not AI. Every item in the art from the window in the back (dark council throne room) to the rocks and weapons are actual in game items. AI would not use those unless it was specifically fed them.

You can tell they tried to mimic the style that the Shadow of Revan splash screen had. I think people question this one because the faces look differently compared to in game. And that’s your big sign that this isnt AI, it’s a clear style that an artist has used for many years.

Can guarantee they drafted this up with in game models then had the artist hand draw the scene. But not with pencil, with a digital art pad.

The models are far too similar to the game models dor this to be AI. A generated image would have messed something up somewhere, but it hasn’t.

I’d encourage people to compare this to the SoR splash screen :)

Anyways… something is hidden in this image. Look at the top section, those 4 red orbs are purposely placed and there is a silhouette of something around that section, a likely tease of something to come. AI also wouldnt know to do that.

1 - have 30 minutes of story content once a year, with all the voice actors.

2 - use AI and have 200 hours of story content every year.

I choose the latter. But the company chose the former

DetrathBhodika: The art looks like an elementary school kid did it, meaning the quality is very poor or possibly that the art was rushed by a more skillful artist. Rushed is my feeling on it, need to get something out there to hype the update that's on the way and that's not good. If they approved art for the loading screen that looks like crap, do you really think they are not doing exactly the same for the update itself? Numbers of players online are dropping; I look at the number of people on fleet every time I am logged in and logged in players are noticeably dropping over the last 2 months. I get that you are a fan of the "Star Wars" universe and SWTOR in particular, but this game is withering away due to repeated missteps by the developers and continued lack of capital to pay a full development team over the last 2.5 years. It's not going to get better. The game could be compared to a terminally ill person knowing the end is coming but wanting to act like the best is yet to come in life. Ain't happening.
