XthDoctorRS: The Beach was the first of the holiday events that started this afk grinding style of event. I still think it doesn't fit in an integrity-focused game design, so here's hoping it gets phased out eventually along with what's been done to Christmas, Easter, and H'ween.

spplmj2380: So if you're curious about how the beach used to work the original version of it had a Temperature Gauge that would go up as you trained. Once it hit 100% that was it no more training until tomorrow. The Ice Creams could be used to reset the gauge up to 3 times a day. Some of the cosmetics like the swimming trunks outfit were tied to filling the gauge a certain amount of time. On the weekends (Fri-Sun) you could still keep training on the beach even after your gauge was full.

The other big change was that the cosmetics were earned via random drops while skilling on the beach or by buying them with oddments which were a MTX currency before its removal. Nearly all the beach cosmetic tokens were tradable though and almost all of them can be bought still for just a few thousand GP on the GE if you dont want to grind out the sand for the current event.

purpleraikou: You gain sandy sands at 1/3 the speed by just doing regular skilling/combat outside of the beach, so it's not worth camping the beach for the majority of players, especially if you don't care that much about the cosmetics. You'll be able to earn a lot of sandy sands by just playing the game regular over the next 4 weeks.

Also, the amount of construction xp you gain from building sand castles is dictated by which NPC is standing there. So if it's the wizard, you build the wizards tower. If it's the grand exchange clerk, you build the grand exchange, etc.

urbs2: rs3 is a solid game i used to play it as my main mmo from 2013 to 2017 and i lost my max cape quite a few times. I need to get it back thanks necro. I did come back for archeology and i actually loved that new skill.

MarinoKadame: For construction when you are at an higher level, I would suggest doing construction contracts with mahogany planks, it will unlock the plank box and the master construction outfit after a certain amount of points it give a really good amount of construction exp.

MarinoKadame: This is the first time it runs in it's own location before it was linked to the Lumbridge crater, it used to have a runecoins shop for some cosmetics but it seems they are all under the same currency now. Also Sandy Clues seems to be gone this year where you could do one daily.
