Disregarding: Cosmetic overrides ruined the game. I wouldn’t care if there was a setting I could turn on to only show what someone is wearing and to toggle off players pets. All the gaudy and flashy shit all over my screen ruined RS3. I love wearable rates but the sheer amount of cosmetics and overrides killed the game. RS3 is basically a dress to impress MMORPG!

Zzorrnac: A little misleading to say Treasure Hunter was the intro to microtransactions for Runescape. The Squeal of Fortune was released in February of 2012 and was the primer that was waiting for the lit match of EoC later that year for the eruption of Players leaving Runescape.

bluerune7305: honestly they've made the game way too complicated at this point, skilling, quests and pvm are a fkn nightmare and i been playing the same off and for 23 years or so, like cmon.. i enjoy pvm/bossing and after 3/4 years away i come back with a whole mess of new bosses and can't do but one of them so far and i am not hopeful on the rest.

rossm7559: For me, EoC isn’t exclusively what ruined the game, it’s that having on-demand abilities feels awful when combined with the ridiculously slow tick rate the game still uses.

You can get used to it, but it just feels so janky.
