Happynotic: Ariane is arguably one of two signature heroes Jagex DIDN'T forget about. Xenia's dead, Linza's dead, Raptor was sacrificed to advance Ellamaria's story, Owen's half-dead, got one quest, then his sequel was offscreened and delivered as exposition, Ozan's involved with the Desert storyline the whole way through and Ariane is involved throughout the Elder God Wars.

As for the Signature Heroes.. I did like it, conceptually. I liked them showing that there are other heroes out there doing adventures, and we get to tag along sometimes, much like how other NPC's get to tag along with ours sometimes. But Jagex failed to implement it properly, and instead made us feel like we weren't important. There was definitely a way to have other characters be the hero without making us just tag along and copy them every time. Ariane's Wizard Tower quests were a good example of that, in my opinion.

DuckyEdea: As an old curmudgeon who played RS as a kid back in the day and has only gone back to OSRS as an adult, this serves as both comfy nostalgia and an education in all the changes I never experienced in RS3. More more more :D

FireSinger: It's a pretty interesting challenge, and I'd love to see you run at Zamorak with a godsword! I do worry that the run highlights the game's weaknesses while showcasing none of its strengths. As you say at the beginning, there's a lot to like here, given a chance.

KsanUwU: I remember watching someone who used solely the legacy combat style in RS3 endgame. They stated that Zamorak was near, if not completely impossible on it, and that was with RS3 endgame gear before this modernization rework. Godspeed Josh

Eshanas: I started playing in late 2006 and 7 RuneScape was my proving ground. A lot of nostalgia there and definitely can relate to the travel>familiarity line. I know that world like the back of my hand, and never got the hang of the meta game. I go in, I quest, I fight, I explore, that’s it.
