I think the changes Jagex has been making to Runescape 3 are extremely positive overall, and I am very excited to jump in myself later on in the year :)

Dragkyre: Now the combat update happened, yes. It's way less cluttered and feels smooth, and over the course of the year there's some more big changes coming and all of them are going to benefit the game

CottidaeSEA: RS3 is finally getting the attention it deserves. Is it worth playing? Sort of. They've still not dealt with all of the issues that it has, but the accessibility of it is improved greatly with the new combat changes and the removal of Treasure Hunter is great.

BuzzzdLightyear: As someone who maxed in RS3, no its not worth getting into yet. Jagex are currently making a lot of changes to the game without any plans in place for fixing/replacing the things they have problems with. They tend to do this a lot to RS3 and we end up with a worse version of the game if thats even possible.

sensainarutoable: i continued into RS3 after the EOC update. only stopped because of Overwatch tbh.

Id continue but since im a solo player, i didnt particularly like that they made most bosses a team boss.

Also, i dont like archeology as a skill. it feels absolutely needed to really do end game content.

gscgold: I started playing runescape in 2006 long before I started playing World of Warcraft and I wish I never let the people I knew then talk me into playing World of Warcraft. I loved runescape back then I did not want to play World of Warcraft I had no interest in it but they kept bugging me, kept bugging me, so I Finally did.. I'll be honest over the years I have regretted that decision a few times especially after legion ended

nathanphillipconnors: I wish they would let you reset your character. Mine is so unbelievably bloated from all those treasure hunter keys I got for free throughout the years. I have multiple skills in the 80's that I don't even know how to use them or what they do.

thejazzcat117: If a quest helper was present i'd resub immediately. The fact I have to tab in-between the RS3 wiki for a quest and the game constantly, especially in medium or long quests, is insane and unimmersive

Tomesaus: OSRS Andy's that still parrot the "RS3 bad" even after these massively positive 180 changes are, and have always been, bad faith.

Their opinions are irrelevant in the grand scheme.

There's never been a better time to play RS3, and it should continue to get better as Jagex improve and iterate on these massive changes.
