Shopping Cartfluffythenative303: jagex didnt create the idea for osrs, a player had petitioned its revival and it went viral and has been thriving since 2013. jsyk! :)
zenknight4839: Yooo, content's back in dekaff
Vanta_X: I was gonna ask about this channel, good to see it’s back
GansEgaaltje: love to see you play this, as a long time rs3 player its great to see osrs players have fun with rs3. Great channel and vid!
ScapinGames: i've not played RS3 properly at any point because of monetisation gripes i had with it, i have been curious about it recently, i've just not been in the Runescape mood. cheers mate, this was a good glimpse into some interesting things for when i do try.
movingtarget0867: Im super excited to watch this as i have been interested in RS3 but was a bit invested in OSRS for the time being. After watching i think im going to give OSRS a pause and feel out RS3. Happy to see you returning to MMO's again!
-Maidenless-: I know nothing about Runescape, game was before my online time, but it's nice to hear someone yap about something they love :D
Cheers
Guy-McPerson: This should be a fun movie to watch in the background. Excited to see how you feel in the end. Personally, I think they nailed it. Rs3 is fun. It only took them 15 years of active development, but it's now a genuine good time.
Or maybe I'm just delirious. I'll find out in two hours.
Drathaion: oh boy more runescape to watch, while I grind runescape! good times in life.
Macy-1998: Nice video Kaif, appreciate the amount of work you put into this :)
Rhino-Joe: Your complaint about necromancy is one that's shared by a majority of the rs3 community, all the armor just feels like they made 1 set of armor and picked more and more pieces off of it to make the lower level versions
BuzzzdLightyear: Holy shit, I didnt even clock that this was a Kaif video. Just thought it was another runescape vid in my feed lol
Sargaxiist2022: Currently doing golem crafting on Wyrmscraig as i watch this. Lmao
Brawneteer: Didn't think I'd be seeing Runescape content here. Guess sending you the pic of that panda pet on a cloud eventually egged you on to it lol
Elimanmaster1: 8:32 seeing the chefs hat price and my brain immediately went "Inflaaaaaattttiiioooonnn" in the same voice as spongebob in that onw imagination episode
DonnyCalamari: I remember the first time I played RuneScape when I was like 11 years old. It was one of my first computer games and I still remember doing the cook’s assistant and the restless ghost. This hits the nostalgia in the right spots
Gorhowl: hell yea big rs3 fan, and its gotten so much better with the road to restoration, how goes your GIM? will we see any vids on that?
Epicdance001: Great video Kaif! I hadn't played any runescape since runescape classic was just runescape so this was nostalgic as hell!
dragonjo7550: what is this kaif, wheres my 200 hours of vod :O
thanks for this content tho i love it
MHGFTW: If you ask me, RuneScape is better than OSRS. I play both games. OSRS is not bad, but once you go really deep on both games, I just like the goals and achievements of RuneScape more than OSRS.
What does mining and smithing 99 get you in OSRS? A couple capes and you can make crappy rune gear. What does it get you in RuneScape? You can make Primal gear, masterwork gear. Top tier melee sets. You can go through the journey of making the life and death pickaxe. Ancient invention to add perks to your tool. Even after 99, I still find myself mining, smithing because I need stuff.
tomoscartwright2311: Mate watching makes me hope you,Rob,Glen and Josh play the official release Runescape dragonwilds
As they've added MUCH MUCH more
archmagemc3561: A few tips for RS3 from someone who has the completionist cape.
1. Revo (Abilities used automatically from left to right) is totally viable to do everything up until, (and maybe including) 2000% bosses.
2. Some bosses like those in GWD1-3 you can do as soon as you unlock them, as they'll have a massive attack you can use i think its called reverb on that attack to heal for max or near max. Cwyir guy in GWD2 is one of these. Learning what attacks you can reverb will save you so, so much food.
3. Almost every skill has a 1 click AFK method.
4. Once you unlock Augmentation, pickaxe and hatchets that are augmented can't go on the toolbelt, but in return you get some massive enchantments on them to make skilling more profitable or faster.
5. Item levels make a huge, huge difference in RS3. Its crazy how stuff you probably remember being hard is trivialized by a level 90 weapon which isn't hard to get in RS3. The biggest weapons to get are ones you can augment tbh, as dropped weapons not only have better stats than the 90 5 stuff you can smith, but you can augment them and augmentation, the lightbulb skill, is going to be your biggest source of power gain in the game outside of prayers and abilities.
6. Xp gain in RS3 is like 5-10x what you remember, as a lot of skills have 120 be the max, not 99.
7. Mage, Range, and Melee abilities used will inherent the element of the type of weapon you have. So all of your attacks will be slashing if you have a slashing weapon, all your magic attacks will be fire if you have fire spells equipped, ext... I think some specific attacks will instead act as a specific elemental type but I forget which ones. Additionally some attacks only work with 2h weapons, some with DW weapons.
8. Attacks do not use runes or arrows, only your auto attacks do.
9. There is a combat style that removes abilities, but greatly enhances your auto attack damage if you want OSRS type combat, but its a huge dps loss later on. Revolution, the automatic use of abilities meanwhile, isn't a dps loss at all over full manual. Its only downside is that you will need to pre-que defensives sometimes.
I can recommend questlines to rush, but I feel like that would be far too much backseating. I'll only give them if you ask.
timcapiau3742: early game gold is solved by getting quest points and talking to the quest girl at the varrock lodestone. every 25 QP you get to roll a dice (clue scroll reward) that often sells for millions
Honatuto: Oh hell yeah, was watching the other night when y'all were doing Monkey Madness in the group. Currently AFK Fishing in the Equilibrium Leagues where I managed to brick myself going Fremmenik early :')
McNibbler: this guy's playin rs exactly like how i remember playing rs as a kid in 2005. this game shines the most when you're just dicking around and exploring and letting the game just kinda throw you into random scenarios
Matudaman: I love the idea of the character standing by the store, stealing twenty-something cakes, and no one bats an eye.
That's why I love videogames so much.
RS3Explained: Peak content as usual
