PupRs: Was very cool to see all of you taking on Amascut
Slabfish: The amascut stream(s) was the most fun I have had watching a stream in a long time, seeing the roles form, the jokes being made and the struggles. I would absolutely love a rs3 GIM series with any of the 4 osrs players that took part, and sick nerd is such a laugh I love him
HotLeafJuicer: It's crazy being hyped for the future of this game again after being a hater for the longest time, even though I've always thought it was a good MMORPG at its core. The MTX/dailyscape/aurascape/no cosmetic toggles/all the extra bloat/etc. really killed it for me which they've now addressed basically all of. Them actually trying to revive the game with all the positive changes/additions while taking a revenue hit seems quite respectable instead of leaving it to rot while milking the playerbase, like they have been for well over a decade.
The big reveal thing for Runefest they've been teasing which will apparently attract both new and returning players sounds very intriguing, though I can't really guess what that could possibly be. After trying this League after not playing the game since 2015ish, I'm definitely considering picking it back up once a bunch of plugins get established. Obviously the game isn't for everyone, and there will always be the chud minority of manchildren that blindly hate on it no matter what, but I hope the general sentiment towards RS3 starts to turn around in these coming years Jagex keeps playing their cards right, as of now they definitely deserve some praise imo.
KushKoi: Ngl this has me hyped for the main game I wish I could play my rs3 and osrs iron at the same time
jetslizer2570: the raid promo LMAO
wessss9877: that boss encounter looks sick af
cayce3162: 100% this leagues was amazing to play, really shows what the game can do when it has those positives.
If anyones playing a rs3 after leagues, id legit suggest playing as essentially a bronzeman, end game ironman there's so much upkeep with stuff it ends up being dailyscape
FluffySheep222: As a note, they reduced the number of tasks for third region by 50 tasks (from 450 down to 400)
Daerric: GM from YouTube!
My og acc is stuck in RS3. He's old enough to drink in the USA. Maybe I'll see him again when plugins come out
Xtone数一: THEY UPDATED THE TASK COUNT FOR NEW REGIONS
this video was likely recorded before the change, but they did change it, by -25, -50 and -75, so its pretty substancial
FirstMocha: Mainly an oldschool player but played this rs3 league and still having a ton of fun, I'll probably even stick around for dragon cup. Dealing with 1 shot mechanics can be a little frustrating when you're like "it's leagues let me brute force this" but as long as you learn one or two mechanics you can get through with a dps rotation of "basic attack" plus a few defensives repositioning. Super fun and might even give rs3 combat a real chance after the league.
Andy.SP7: loved your RS3 leagues streams, especially the Amascut ones. A GIM with a couple other OSRS creators would geniunely go soooo hard.
drexlightsworn2654: Faux has been talking about doing a rs3 hcim or gchim, maybe gnomonkey in the rs3 farmers????
Korki_DH: Audio low for anyone else?
TigerFangRS: 4k telos when?!?! - Glad you had a great experience tho!
FluffySheep222: Hope you do give RS3 either main or GIM or whatever you choose a chance in the future. If plugins is something you're interested then definitely wait for that (and maybe a little after that since I'm guessing it will take some time to have people make things)
RsDeepHalo: Imagine a rs3 plugin where all the armour is overridden with rs2 graphics from 2010
BubzBreakers: I dont think you understand the gravity of how much they improved the game. This year has been the best year in a decade. A lot of rs3 players dont realize how good we have it right now. The massive shift to ENTIRELY stopping mtx has been nothing short of incredible. The previous ceo made it so we had months where mtx was the literal big update. This was happening for YEARS. It was incredibly depressing. Mod North has finally given me hope that rs3 has a future. I think one more year of restoration and the game will be in an amazing state. Im excited to see where it goes. Im a max iron, with a lot of gm pvm achievements, and for the first time in years I dont feel as much shame in playing the game, its truly improved for the better.
kjax139: glad to know it isn't me that it felt it's taking foooorrrrevvverrr to unlock regions. just unlocked me 2nd one....not looking forward to the last
sunnysidedown: Feel like they could do a lot of group-based encounters in osrs so much more multifaceted if they just added a "voke" ability. (target prioritization)
SoundConstraints: started playing rs3 because of this leagues, soooo fucking fun actually. nice break from osrs
itzcolder8852: Raid shadow legends jumpscare
lolmuffins1: Yeah but this Leagues doesn't play a sick guitar riff every time you complete a task, so....
UltiemeHack: I'm happy to see you liked it. I used to come back twice a year to check on updates, but lately they have been doing really well
jaggerjackize: Gz on the pet and the 4k clear those Amascut runs were hype to watch
X2o55: One neat thing this time around is that you can try out leagues as a F2p account; obviously you won't get to super endgame or anything, but if you don't want to lose a ton of time on your personal account you can just boot up an alt to dip your toes in. I personally did my early game task rush on my alt before I bonded up, it was much less stressful for me to take it slow and free to start out.
As an aside, the early game/F2p side of the game has recently gotten some love from the devs, and is more cohesive than it used to be. Still quite different than Oldschool, but at least there's some sort of logic to it now.
