Shopping CartTheBlazeAkin: Jagex cooked with this update! As an OSRS player coming to RS3 - I've never been more excited for the future with Road to Restoration and updates like these.
fuzzy-pillar: Adding the slayer pyramid to the POH is genuinely a great idea, because it takes something that's only available in an instance and allows you to share it with friends or strangers via homesteads.
jdb6284: i hit the 300 furniture limit quite quickly. I did my garden and my inside is almost empty. We need 600 lol
FearThePegasus: I'm excited to see what else they add
richardperez6060: As an early game ironman, I'm excited to finally pay attention to construction aside from the fort activity!
apollo9815: Would be cool to be able to farm inside your PoH, maybe a bank chest as a rare drop or PvM kill count reward, and a lodestone would tie this all together
necrolord1920: I stopped playing runescape over a decade ago, however I kept up on the updates on it because my dad played it and would frequently beg me to help him on things he wasn't skilled enough to do for the comp cape.
This is the first update that makes me wish I still played. I really loved construction when it was brand new, and this update gives me the same kind of feeling.
Zerg07: Ive never been more jealous of an update than I am towards this one as an OSRS player
Augustine1488: Man I was working on all kinds of things and now Im gonna end up spending 3 days just doing poh now.
deusrex: I see a lot of suggestions elsewhere that would give players the opportunity to silo themselves in isolation and rarely have to visit the few social hubs we have left (such as allowing it to replace Wars Retreat) or as QoL to skip visiting some of the lesser visited places for certain tasks. Honestly I'd hate for these to be considered. The world already feels quite dead. Instead I'd prefer to see content that would encourage us to visit the PoH often, for short tasks, without detracting from content outside of the PoH.
For example, let us put all of our skilling outfits into storage and display 3 or so on armour stands. Whatever outfits displayed would have its effects set as passive, teleports could be offered as a right click on the armour stand (and on construction cape?), etc. Would be cool for us that don't use cosmetic overrides, but also don't want to be another Elder Divination clone when near a rift. Not needing to change loadout for some things would also be nice. This won't harm anything that already exists, give extra QoL, a reason to visit the PoH often, and would genuinely (for me) be a cool way to let me play the game the way I like without MTX cosmetics, but without the drawbacks of the skilling outfits.
arnauddebroissia8964: this is nice, but I would have liked doors and possibility to put walls in between rooms...
pwnzlikeme: the poh fairy ring and spirit trees are better, because you can tele to house using the new teleport similar to wars retreat instantly
Lyoko42o: @0:29 Why doesn't FFXIV have this. Square Enix could had a construction chest that stores all your items you had in and around your house at the time of auto demolish. It could just be a catalogue of placeable items that has a checkmark indicator that it was at your residence at time of destruction. Alongside half the value of the plot...but nooo
Josephx118: Hopefully they never add the adrenaline crystal or boss portals bc then that would create dead content and continue to create a loop or new content makes older content obsolete rather than everything having a purpose
OTucker98: Don't you think removing the lodestone teleport at any time just to put it in the house is kind of pointless. You're basically just adding an extra loading screen for no reason.
ProfessionalGasLighting: Potion cauldron kinda makes potion reservoir useless
ArchonZach: Osrs housing on steroids lol
thelastshadow8623: Extend skill cap, doesnt give better methods, nerfs old ones. Must be jagex
Dragonrumpus: Absolutely goated with the sauce for that house layout planner, hell yeag
Also neat that we can finally have floating rooms, those Ardy style skybridge halls between the towers look sick
Some_Awe: this is one of those updates that helps me remember were playing a game, with so many more aspects to enjoy it than the gameplayloop were used to
MaidenUK: 8/10. Great customizations. Wish they added new training methods and more uses for acacia/magic/yew planks ect. Hopefully in the future they will add a potion storage facility
mickakamickie: How can again you change the ground in your POH to greenscreen?
This was possible before by wearing a orb of oculus and talk to an estate agent, but now not anymore.
Does anybody know how this now does work?
SunlightChrista: Been playing osrs for awhile but im def keen to try out rs3 again with all these updates. Imagine if they added the ability to build a farm space in your POH. They could limit it so you can only have 1 of each kind like 1 hops patch, 1 tree patch, 1 allotment space with 2 patches and the flower and herb patch. Thatd b sick.
raphaelanjoss: we should have a perma homestead, on the mainland, an area on the mainland, where the players can bid to set their houses to everyone.. if the month is due, they loose the perma homestead and the next tenant takes it.
KaiHydra: With this update i feel like they should should work towards making certain areas things you graduate from eg wars retreat, after enough work and grinding you should be able to have all of its facilities at home except for the bank chest ofc.
As said in the video altering certain things in the game might be the play.
I think the poe should become the go to area without abandoning the actual game world
jiggawhat56: You made us wait too long for this video
puffcap_: Genuinely happy to see this update, but its eye opening as an OSRS player that almost all of the functional items are just things from oldschool
