killer109536: It's weird to see a lot of people trying to say "mtx isn't the problem, it's eoc." People that say this just don't want to learn, they want their combat to just be clicking in the right places at the right time. The people who love rs3, and love the combat, think it's the best part of the game. It's not a "wow clone", for those of you , who tried eoc back when it released in the latter half of 2012, it is NOTHING like that anymore, the game is smooth, fluid, combat abilities make sense, the progression is a bit wonky but.. please don't just write off the idea of "eoc", because you tried it when you were a kid, "hated it" and never tried again. Give it a chance and i promise you'll love this game as much as old school. Go and look at all the old school players that have done a "so i tried rs3.." style video/series.. all of them love the game, but all say mtx is the problem.

Dondon-i9o: I mean I know loads of people buying bonds to sell for gp in os it is the same as mtx a few people don't think it is but it really is, and rs3 will just do the same but even still good on north tho

Jed_Rowahnn: I don't think MTX is ever going away completely in RS3. Like they said, it brings in too much revenue and is too big of a % of how they fund the game. They just need to scale back on it.

I think removing Treasure Hunter is the most important thing. If there has to be MTX, it should be direct purchase stuff so you know what you're getting, not locked behind random chance "ultra rare" promotions that take thousands of spins to get.
