brooksp1191: My speculation is Abyss 2.0 added will be similar to Expedition in PoE2 0.5, it will be tied to the league mechanic at least thematically but not the mechanic itself. With no actual reasoning, but think Allflames will be tied to a Torment rework which will be the mechanic. Since all 3 concepts are based around life/death and souls, it would make sense to do so, and gives them a chance to flesh out more of the lore around all 3. I do hope however the league mechanic itself isn't a crafting mechanic, though if Abyss 2.0 is added similar to PoE2 it would still be kindof a crafting league just by the nature of it.

JBX5677JB: POE 2's Abyss is substantially better. That would be a massive W if they gave us something similar to that. I would love to see a reimagining of blight as well one day.

After coming back to D4 this season for the first time in almost two years, I really hope GGG does a crafting league this season to modernize that area of the game and makes it easy to understand (and not seven different steps or a spreadsheet that is required) to make four to five good mod items that is designed to be a core feature going forward in future league.

It has been really fun in D4 just crafting solid midleague items items and not feeling an urge to go to a trade site. That is the issue, the midleague crafting in POE 1 doesn't exist. This easy access to crafting actually made me want to play more, not less! POE 1 is a much better overall game with deeper systems and character progression but, I say this a 5k hour player of 14 years, the crafting is abysmal. It isn't even crafting. It is a slot machine RNG, on top of slot machine RNG. The worst part of the game by a mile. Where even as an experienced player I am looking up youtube guides so I don't spend an hour rerolling all my currency. It is sad that most people just buy the gear outright, because it is so much cheaper. Really hurts a foundational feature of an ARPG.

Even the first weekend, it cost less than 5 chaos for a good five mod item. So, one map worth of farming with no juice? Maybe it doesn't have to be that easy, but maybe after a good hour of mapping, I can make two pieces or try to see if I can upgrade one of my worst pieces.
