Tirpitz721: PoE 2 made me appreciate PoE 1 even more.
psydankthepsyduck4890: yeah after playing poe2 i just cant go back. im going to wait until poe 2 is fully released to play it. taking a break for now
Joey_Shepard: It was the opposite for me; as soon as I logged into PoE1 I was reminded of what a great game it is :) Both games are good in their own ways, but in the end, I feel like PoE1 respects my time a lot more than PoE2 at the moment. Especially when you know what you want to do and how to do it. Getting to maps in a few hours and properly crafting some gear feels so awesome after spending so much time snail-pacing around in PoE2 and all the RNG-"crafting". In the end, a mix of both games will feel great I'm sure.
Karmeezy: Opposite for me. Poe1 all day baby. Ill come back to poe 2 when its done
KallTorak: Dipping my toes into PoE 1 just made me even more hyped for PoE 2 and its future. The upcoming patches are going to be amazing! There is so much PoE 2 to consume still sheeesh!
vikingvalravn: I've never played POE1 until after playing POE2. I decided to try poe1 when that limited time event league stated just so I could get that new armor set. Once this new expansion released, I went back again and I'm actually loving poe1 more than 2 right now. I have 1500hrs in poe2 but poe1 is hitting different.
dean1398: I hate to say I’m in the opposite camp - I’m one of those guys. The more I played poe2 the more I couldn’t stand it. So happy sitting in poe1 rn. I love the game beyond the game.. and 2 just doesn’t have it for me. Props to GGG for splitting the games so everyone gets something. Gonna miss you in poe1 tri.
zerul1193: My biggest problem with PoE1 currently is the constant disconnects the EU region is experiencing because of the DDOS attacks. I've lost more than 20 maps to dcs which killed my instance so I'm currently only twinking as I can accept losing a little progress much easier than losing maps over and over.
screamer22222: I dont know, for me its been quite the opposite. After playing a lot of poe2, going back to poe1 was was very nice. And i'm enjoying it much more than the younger, shinier brother. Much more content, more build diversity, better and more interesting loot, and most important, movement skills... I really missed the zoom zoom feel a lot.
Zenbubbles: I'm also a bit disappointed in PoE1, even though I was superhyped for 3.26. PLaying PoE1 right now feels like playing an old game I loved when I was younger. It's not resonating anymore.
BellCurvedEducation: Trying POE1 for the first time and just how the game feels to control, combat etc. to me at least was much less satisfying than POE2, especially on controller. I get that POE1 has much more content right now, but I quickly realised that how a game feels to play for me is way more important than the extra content and I quickly found myself back playing POE2 instead.
thexcodec: I'm glad I have a YouTuber who will focus on Poe 2. Poe 2 is "it" for me, and Poe 1 just feels like a mobile game now. I will be here for every video :)
Degarth: For me I only watch your PoE 2 stuff. I am not interested in PoE 1.
nepocrates: I may never go back to PoE 1 after reaching endgame for the first time—I really enjoy PoE 2 and love the WASD movement.
I made it to endgame and was running maps, and I’m looking forward to doing it all again. I’m a bit of a completionist—I hate leaving any part of a map unexplored, so it takes me a while to get through. But that’s just how I like to play.
Thanks for all the content you create!
Retronomicon: Good on you buddy. I agree with you 100 percent, I rather play and experience the game than go to guides within guides and deal with all the systems in the game that just feel tedious. Great for those who enjoy it, POE1 is for you. POE2 is for me.
Edit: Subbed to counter the haters.
LootCabin: Completely understandable. I went back to PoE 2 pretty quick. If I could sum up all the reasons why into 1 it’s: It just doesn’t have the “OOMPH” feeling that radiates in PoE2.
calebolver3223: Going back to poe1 was like realising your dealer has been cutting your supply for the last year and suddenly you get that pure stuff
petrhampl7761: Glad to hear that I'm not the only one that felt dejected after playing new league! Better hop back on PoE2 :D
BokkoTheBunny: I feel like GGGs unicorn. I love both games. PoE2 was great for a first experience, but after a few hundred hours logged in, I had my fill. The incomplete aspects like missing classes, items, skills, etc.all contribute to burnout cause I don't currently have the amount of freedom with builds I'd like.
Excited for the future of both games. PoE 2 just needs more time to cook, and i see myself playing both for as long as I enjoy arpgs.
Say what you will, GGG has a track record of always fixing their biggest problems while sticking with what they know makes their game special.
SquirtleSquad2025: It seems you have a lot on your plate for you to actually enjoy poe1, a game which has a tons of content accumulated through out 10 years, thus we all need an actual plan to play. So I understand. (and adding the Flexile- feature for your stream might have been the nail to the coffin, I might be wrong). Anyway I respect your decision.
As for me, I thoroughly in love with the new league 3.26, blasting like always.
Looking forwards to the 0.3 poe2 also.
richardporter8817: It seems like the full release is getting pushed back further and further.
beltizad: Looking into the distant future of Talkative Tri: "Sorry all you PoE1 and 2 fans, but i've come to realize that the games are just not for me. As i grow older, I realize i just want to log into a game and push the 'I WIN' button. Any more effort, I just can't be bothered with, but best of luck to you die hard gamers who enjoy 'effort'". cringe
1seanv: Poe 1 is the superior game in every aspect other than graphics, animations, sound, and campaign bosses.
Outside of those it's not even close. Loving 3.26. Poe 2 has a LONG way to go to even equal the OG.
TheArgusPlexus: I've just kept right on playing PoE2. I'm not done with my build, I haven't completed all content. Basically I'm not done with it. And given I'm only 4 months into learning PoE, I felt it was smarter for me to stay in 2, continue learning, continue building and find tuning, and not get my brain scrambled trying to parse information from the two games from each other.
eddieroberts2919: I couldn’t go back. POE1 controls felt archaic. Just gonna keep grinding POE2 .
AdamColladoJ: Just want to say I was a subscriber before the beard arc!
But also, while in the very short term it might not be that great for your view count, in the long term working on content you want to work on is just much healthier for content creators. Having to make content for something that you're not passionate about (let alone don't enjoy) sounds miserable and it reflects in the content, so I think you focusing on the things you love is going to work out in the end!
