I remember a few days ago, before the release of the Death of Hype

Mystra: We do not mind a challenge. But the difficulty needs to be against elites and bosses only. Not a random wolf running around the map like he's the flash. Take Elden Ring, regular enemies are easy and some rare ("elites") are moderate and bosses are hard. The way it should be.

They're just nerfing fun. It's weird to see them go the Blizzard route with this patch.

omgitslukas5242: The idea of breaking the game is why I loved PoE 1 and also Last Epoch. In Last Epoch I made a paladin eraser build that took so long to make but I was able to one shot most things after hours of playing. PoE 2 I just don’t see myself doing anything like that if this is their current plan. Last Epoch, it is your time to shine again!

StonedSolid: Difficulty in PoE2 was already hard. Like, right up against the limit of what I find fun. I have no idea where GGG got this idea that the game needed to be even harder. Makes no sense.

Rick_Sanchez_Jr.: I legit don't get what they're doing with PoE 2 anymore or who thought this would be fun for veteran or even new-time players. It's just a convoluted fast-pace-gated experience that feels like it has no soul compared to PoE 1.

GreenStreetSlim: The was no QA whatsoever with this patch. Everyone keeps saying "But...But..Its Early Access". This game has been in development 6 years and still has no identity.

Siris6771: I somewhat disagree with the point of elden ring being that you can break the game, it's more to me that you can approach it by overcoming the content via your build, yours skill, or a mix of the two. As for PoE2, I think they can still make this a good game, but they need to not just nerf players without either giving us the tools to balance it out or nerf enemies along with us. A lot of people were saying end game was too fast, and their answer was to slow players to 0.5 speed, but enemies are still at 2x, hopefully they learn from this and will actually push regular patches this time

Yasharvl: It took me watching the release video, 20min of gameplay, and a crash to understand that this update has ruined everything and went ahead uninstalling the game. CAN'T WAIT FOR THE LE SEASON 2 TO COME OUT!

jimjones9631: It feels like GGG has hit the point with me that Blizzard did. This isn't the same GGG that i used to enjoy from poe1. At this point i don't even know if i want to go back to poe1 with how they've all but abandoned it. Even if poe2 turns around, the fact this company is struggling this hard after being in this space for over a decade I just don't know if i can trust their "vision" anymore

I played world of tanks some time ago(like 7 years ago) and there is a running joke - wot devs playing dota2 and not wot. Same joke goes for ggg now.

pietrdavgar3744: I agree with a lot of the criticism regarding POE2's horrendous vision. But I don't think the goal of Elden Ring is to break the game or trivialize the combat. You can do those things, but the point is more about difficult yet fair engagement.

He explained, "We don't try to force difficulty or make things hard for the sake of it. We want players to use their cunning, study the game, memorize what's happening, and learn from their mistakes."

abelke: As a SSF player this season is a nightmare. Made it to maps and I have yet to find upgrades since regular act 3 because loot drops are terrible. Had a rare literally drop nothing
