The Current State of Path of Exile 3.27 Keepers of the Flame Thoughts

unlearningify: lol @ 1 Divine from 20k graftblood. Dropped 60k and ended up with something like 30c of value.

ronald3602: I hate how rare the Graft Currency is, i've not seen a single corrupt orb thingy for my grafts...

r3albadgamer954: i just wish they added a chance to drop foulborns in every breach, now im skipping except the classic breach

ashmath487: I honestly let out a pretty long sigh when I see a hive tower in my juiced maps. I have gotten to the point where I skip them. They are not hard for my build...I just stand in the middle for 3 mins holding right click. It just feels like it takes my entire map and grinds it to a halt.

martinsvilands7334: Meh assassin rework was basically nerf to existing assassin builds and confused mess replacing an already poor ascendancy.

Shadow as such suffers from Trickster being too obscenely stacked up, so Saboteur and Assassin can't have anything nice because flesh/flame just adds the nice stuff from them, to the stacked trickster.

And that's been the trend since Saboteur rework and before that, when instead of appropriately handling single outlier, seismic DOT, cooldown based traps were completely gutted. Every change to shadow just seems more and more about damage control on Trickster rather than the other two ascendancies.

mariomcp: It's strange. I think this league mechanic is mediocre to outright kinda not good, yet I have played this league more than possibly any other. I have one level 100 and I am about to have a second. I am using a mageblood for the first time. I've easily put 500 div into my build which is something I'd have never done before.

Async trade is just a total game changer that makes the game so much more enjoyable. Just this morning I bought like 30 8 mod corrupted maps from someone's shop with no issues, waiting, whispering, or anything. Took a 2 second search on the IN GAME item browser, warped to his shop, and saw he had a bunch for sale so I snagged them all.

IVeNoMII: Breach was bad but async trade made this my most played league BY FAR. The fowlborn uniques are really cool and I don't think the full effect of their implication has been felt yet.

popochief6424: I actually enjoyed this league quite a bit, mostly because of the builds. I ended up trying a few that were genuinely fun, and that carried a lot of my experience. The endgame felt a little light, the juice wasn’t really there, but I treated that as part of the challenge, finding new ways to make currency and keep the game interesting for myself.

The league mechanic, especially the fortresses, didn’t land for me. They felt slow and the delayed rewards made it feel like a drag, just like Palsteron pointed out. Even so, the league as a whole was enjoyable, and I’m planning to keep playing. The builds are the real reason it worked for me.

backpacks6486: This is the first league I’ve ever gotten all my voidstones and completed my atlas .

This is the first league I’ve made currency trading to the point I have a surplus of divinies .

A lot of that is from the tree and the power it gives , for blasters like you that have a ton of knowledge and playtime this league was mid , for casual people like me who normally don’t make it to maps this league was incredible

PlatinumTrickster: this was my very first poe1 league. it was such a vastly different experience for me from almost every video I watched and every player I spoke with. it was fun, but I was definitely overwhelmed. I hope I have better understanding of things by next league

masdabugg8618: Still blows my mind that they added walls to breach. Newsflash GGG; No one likes walls in their maps. They better remove that shi in next patch

Tandoliga: I hope they now understand that just nerfing the endgame without any replacement is just not a good idea. Instead of taking away the overpowered farming strategies they should adjust them and add new ones. A rewarding endgame is what affects retention most.

rpgambit: One of those leagues where the mechanic was mid but the core game changes were so good that it was a great league imo. About to hit level 100 for the first time. The foulborn uniques were amazing for build diversity as well. Overall great league even if i skip the mechanic at this point

lifeloverNorris: Overall I think they genuinely made breach worse. Literally the only breach that resembles fun is the old one with just a hand on the map. The other two with defend Ailith and hive fortress takes too long and just not fun.

purple4395: There is a trend in player retention. The leagues that give good gear but no power creep like Keepers or Necropolis are not played a lot.

The leagues that push endgame power creep and make the player feel strong like mercenaries and affliction have good player retention.

People often dislike power creep but its a fact that player will play more with it.

Tarektioban: I like how I can gauge when you recorded this by Steve's delve level.

aipahdyano4429: One of the worst leagues for me in 10 years playing. Really a step back because breach is now worse then before and they will 100% don’t want to waste their poe2 assets. I really don’t know why they hate loot so much and having aspirational farms. Even tho trading idols sucked but phrecia was hella fun. Atlas tree got boring because it’s just tileset boringness

rob4xs: Poverty league

pieguy1785: I think the saddest thing is this is probably going to be our one chance at revisiting a league since they will just bring this out as the “you think you do but you don’t”

Snugs_TTV: i basically had 4 mirrors from gambling sitting in my stash but no motivation to make another build because of the state of juicing. I think ggg made a mistake nerfing the atlas passives/scarabs this league. whats the point of making a super strong build if there is not much to use it for?

Halcy_n: I played SSF this league and maybe thats why I really enjoyed myself since breach was so powerful for getting your own gear

SachJu9265: I loved the league.

bitterblossom19: I like keepers tbh. I hope it goes core, it'll make standard playable (with some balace changes for sure) for casuals like my playgroup who don't have time to play league consistently. The genesis tree will make the inflation bearable.

aaronbautista3396: After settlers everything went downhill just to focus on poe2.

hamdakedidi5662: It was shit, I didn't even do 4th ascendancy. Never quit a league so fast

Olden_son: AFAIK Kinetic Fusillade got a deep dive by Lolcohol.

TLDR - 0.7 Seconds before sending Barrage, 0.05 seconds per next projectile in barrage.

Both scales with Skill Effect Duration, so you balance SED and AS, and you're good

On Kinetic Wall - i think its a bad solution to other somewhat bad solution. You made a very cool discovery - that KBoC works with Tornado on Spellslinger. I do believe GGG tried to substitute that with Kinetic Wall, which turns out to be bad on every level.

I kinda wish GGG changed this skill onto something like "Kinetic Refractor" that when fired at - behaves as a target (like tornado now) but adds additional Chain to projectiles fired at it. This and removing stupidly long Cooldown - would make it Hella good for many wanders (at least KBoC would work with it and KF would have kinda Autotarget with it, that Somatic Shell and Power Siphon have as is)

On Kinetic Rain - removing delay between cast and projectile landing would go very far, in terms of 'feels good'
