Nimroc: Scorching Ray of Immolation totems already had so good damage that I didn't bother using a real main-hand weapon for them in Keepers and just used foulborn Cybil's Paw for the ES on block. lol

michadybczak4862: Pact spells sound awful with builds where you have to click a lot regularly (Winter Orb), on RF or CWS it is a viable to boost the dmg for bosses, so they would stronly minimize single target dmg problem.

Unfortunately, the new patch notes revealed that Creeping frost is nerfed and it was the main dmg dealer in build I had in mind. Now that idea is scratched.

JezzyHsu: I'm sorry but I dont understand how duration factors in at all for a totem build. A totem start channeling, it puts a debuff on the mob, mob starts taking damage.

As time goes on, the stack count of that debuff goes up so the damage goes up, but it's still a single debuff doing a single instance of damage.

So unless each stack is its own damage debuff (which I dont think it is) then the duration doesnt really matter. Totems channel fast enough so the stacks never fall off (unless the totem dies) so that totem's stack reaches 8 max and stays there, and only have 1 instance of damage.

Have I been doing SR totems all wrong? Is each stage its own instance of damage?

joshuapeiser2326: SRoI Totems are actually worse now. For singletarget it´s better with full stack ramp, but with the totem nerfs it´s worse without ramp. In the end worse for clear which is the majority of the playtime
