Sidnv: Volcanic Fissure of snaking is a fantastic skill, and I'd league start this if I hadn't just played it on Anc Commander in a private league. I don't think it can ever be better on another ascendancy, Commander was made for it, but it looks great on Berserker as well. Are you not using a Tincture mainly out of preference? It adds a lot of damage and uptime is pretty decent, I found it very useful while bossing at least.

Also, I think if you do 60% to fire and 40% to lightning, and either have flat lightning on a budget weapon for league start, or use phys to lightning instead of a support, you can use trinity. I think this ends up being a lot more damage, especially after the nerf to the resistance inversion mastery. You do have to remove Lifetap for this but the mana costs are pretty manageable, especially since that setup is more damage even after removing herald of ash.
