Your curse duration is 0.7s, it means you have to wait 0.63s to get the soul from expired curse

If you kill the mobs too fast(under 0.63s) you will not get any soul.

So the best solution is to get a 50% reduce curse duration ring (delve ring with reflecting mist) and right level of hextouch to get exactly 99% reduce curse duration

Then your attack/spell will grant a soul instantly

justinshanahan4519: I've been playing this for the last few days but as crit. Soul eater lets you sustain 4 intensity stacks even with Nadir mode so it's very easy to get to crit cap with occultist/power charges. The buffs on the intensity related supports are also quite nice.
