PotbellyGoat: This was my first real league in PoE 1. Because everything is so new to me I put 24 hours into it just to get to lvl 58 in Act 7. I have enjoyed the mercenary aspect a lot and I also have enjoyed learning about blight, heist, legion, delves, and all the other things that PoE 2 doesn't have yet. I can't wait to get to mapping and see what just picking a map feels like.

yournamethere123: I have about 400 hours in Poe 1 and always struggled following a build guide because I don’t have much knowledge I attained myself, only what I learned from YouTube and build guides. After putting 300 into poe2 and crafting my own builds I felt way more comfortable coming back to poe1. And I now am starting to realize how far Poe 2 has to go to get where this game is. But I have faith in GGg

fvzi4861: Mercs are the most fun I've had during campaign in a while. It's insane how much this simple(at first glance) mechanic can make the game feel so much different.

Capitan_Captain: I really love the mercs. Even if GGG nerf them, I think that the league mechanic it's pretty good, and it would be fun to have them go core, as it open the possibilities for a lot more builds. But what a balance nightmare tho lol.

KaptenInsano: First time playing poe1 and I love it. Definitely feel better smashing in this one compared to poe2. I can see the potential for Poe 2 though. So excited to play both

filipvadas7602: The Merc mechanic is honestly really satisfying. The power level between archetypes is a little all over the place, but its pretty fun!

taruninja: I had a merc that had a level 63 unique on it, when I was level 20. You bet I grabbed that quickly (tho its not that great but was cool to happen)

I’m sure loads of the drop off numbers are in the same place as me, I’m not watching a 3h video to feel like I’m not missing something in each and every zone.

then I played PoE1 and I wanted mercenaries in PoE2

as you mention, absolute game changer in HC/SSF for rounding out your item and currency income, and ofc it's simply great fun to play with

90FirstGenPGT: Went back to back 8hrs. Loved this league start. First day it was a bit laggy but didnt have any issues overall.

Ccubed92: I love the mercs first poe one full playthrough and having a blast. I think mercs should stay powerful with how much good loot they can potentially have in my opinion. Hardcore players shouldnt be the minority that changes the fun because they cant read the mercs builds they fight

jaydeus: I wish Rogue Exiles in Poe 2 were this interesting. Also, on PS5, I've had more crashes in the last few days than in the entire YEARS I've owned the system. None of my other games lag and crash. It's a GGG thing because I've had issues with Poe 2 as well. Kinda worried about my machine tbh.

princesinge1295: After having experienced PoE 2 combat and movement, going back to PoE 1 feels bad for me. Being able to move while fighting in PoE 2 is just too smooth, it feels good. PoE 1 now feels clunky.

runrunreload2213: Liking the mercenaries, but would love it so much more if you can keep your favourite one and level it... I hate finding a perfect one and then even getting attached to the name, and accepting it as a 'brother at arms' and then he gets left behind in levels and becomes weak, and it feels like, yeah, you ware a good doggy but I'm putting you down because this other pup can catch the ball better.

jordanbauerly8843: I fucking knew it. Those damn mercs are either pushovers or drop you in 1 shot past shitloads of hp, 5 endurance charges, max res, fortification, and just about any other bit of mitigation I can find to add.
