drakon089: I know GGG probably won't change this, but the more I play the more I dislike the lvls on skills affix. It's just too powerful, it makes looting an upgrade so difficult, specially with caster weapons. If they count on that power for us to clear the content, they could put that power on the skill tree, as people seem to agree that the skill tree feels less powerful than it should
lovesource6436: Definitely agree on the PoE2 ascendancies. If you play PoE1, you know how sick the ascendancies are. Berserker attack speed, golemancer nodes, slayer cull, trickster energy shield leech. All badass and cool. PoE2 ascendancy: 10% of damage as extra lightning damage. Why lol
Tentacl: Visibility. I'm a HUGE fan of magic and this is the first game in my LIFE I purposefully avoid any elemental effects.
RickCarleton: So, you know in Trial of Sekhemas, the Escape trials? Find a crystal, it points a beam to the next one? Do that for Delirium! Have the broken mirror clumps where Deli monsters are, hit it, kill the enemies, and it points the way that the fog is moving, towards the next mirror. And get rid of the Deli effect entirely!
junoslenstorm4914: I watched your last stream recap and thought you really developped,and matured as a content creator. I thought during some instances that you were glazing a bit too much on the game and the devs, but I can respect the dedication and passion.
You've addressed a really important point with the proper solution : less monster, more rewards.
I think it's a risky move to the core community of PoE1, but the pros outweigh the cons tremendeously.
- Less clutter
- More meticulous gameplay with relative dynamism
- More skill expression
- Better performance, less crash
- Easier to balance
- Proper foundation to create telegraphic monster animations, otherwise would be diminished by cluttered visuals, in its turn, pushing away devs from proper animation monster since they would just think that in the end we won't notice
EncorePerformances: I agree with most of this.
Regarding your point about endgame being punishing: I do not see myself playing 0.4 unless they walk back the "0 respawns" for 6 mod maps, regardless of any other changes made. Not suggesting they go back to PoE 1's system of 6 portals in all situations, but only 1 attempt for 6 mod maps and top-end content is too far in the opposite direction.
Ferdnmn: Meaningful combat in endgame would be awesome.

TKnightTea: Less Punishment - this is the main point that usually kills the late game for me (especially the 10% lost exp).
- Remove the 10% - Make it so you lose the exp gained on that specific map instead.
- When dying with 1 portal - allow to tp back and collect the loot
Those two would be pretty nice.

jamesstewart8663: I still really hate that fact that monsters respawn in zone during the campaign. It really feels like a massive punishment, especially when zones are so big and 'check points' suck.
Zenbubbles: Something they could try is to add zones to the atlas that you can clear. Put a tower at the start of the zone, so you can juice the zone to your liking and add internediate end bosses to the zones. They can even add rogue-like elements as you continue to complete the zones.

michaelnorth5528: Rather than add a punishment for failing a map, I wish they would implement a reward for succeeding.
I wish that you had 6 attempts on every map, no matter what. I wish that as you killed monsters in the map, you gained an ever stacking loot rarity/quantity buff, scaling up based on the total percentage of map monsters you have killed. When you die, this stacking buff is reset to zero.
So you are still rewarded for playing safe, building defenses, and being smart - but then you can still finish up your map and your juiced content within it even if you die. You just lose out on that juicy juice that stacks up so the end of the map feels super rewarding.
It would also encourage players to limit test. To really take their builds out on the track and see what they can do with it. They aren't so worried about losing their breaches or their whatever, because it's still THERE.
jarenb2331: Honestly until release i don’t want balance: i want content. Balance delays new classes, characters, weapons, uniques, acts, and everything else.
If they focus on balancing what was broken last EA patch, they’ll be digging an endless hole and filling it back up delaying the release of the game.
Balance should primarily be for a full release. Sure, nerf the broken immortal or 1Billlion dps mechanics, but every new patch they release they will break that many more things.
