I watched yesterday’s stream of you watching ZiggyD’s druid gameplay, and you misunderstood the basic Pounce mark. The description is: “Marked target takes 3% increased damage for each of its enemies within 6 metres of it, up to 30%.”

So the enemy of the marked target is you and your minions/companions/wolves, which means it will also be good for single-target damage.

Also, you missed the Wolf Pack skill in the Spirit Gems tab, so you’ll be able to summon permanent wolves in addition to the ones summoned by the mark.

Jsharpeone: A new class and new weapon only comes around every so often and going in blind can be one of the most fun experiences. If you're OK with this and having a "I can always reroll the meta build later if it all goes to shit", then picking Druid is going to be a good time.
