Matt-gf4gd: GGG seems like one of the few remaining dying breeds of just a good, smaller, transparent, older school developer.

Kinjara: On the subject of the grey area MTX - these have been a thing in POE 1 for a while and are starting to become a bit more common but just aren't advertised as much. For example, there's are 2 different ring MTX's that keep track of the steps your characters made and how many of each currency in the current league your character has dropped. These totally fit the exact kind of thing you mentioned where you can't really track these without having the MTX (or otherwise using a 3rd party program which you totally can do). There's even map devices that keep track of the time you spent in the map or how many of each tier of map you've ran for a league. I totally get the fact that there are people who want to track these outside of spending money, but for me, I'll take the fact that stuff like this is locked behind a paywall instead of classes, expansions, etc being behind a paywall. GGG puts out free content to a level that is unmatched and I'll gladly support some of this more grey area stuff if the free to play player gets to still enjoy a whole plethora of content without ever paying for it.
