Shopping CartVidereOrbis: AA is where it's at with gaming now days. The sweet spot where they have a budget and a team unlike indie but also creative freedom and not held hostage by equity firms, shareholders, focus groups and out of touch executives.
DestinL: Wow this intro was great. I should really learn how to edit ha ha.
khubibayan4335: missed their chance to 1 extra head for the dragon on ascendancy, maybe in the future tho
Tairu8: DM is 100% correct about monetization. I’ve probably spent hundreds of dollars on Warframe over the years because I don’t ever feel like the devs are trying to flip me upside down and shake coins out of my pockets every time I log into the game.
PoE2 is similar, I don’t feel like they’re trying to nickel and dime me so I find myself looking at the microtransactions way more often than I do in other games because I’ll be having fun and I’ll want to support the devs and spend some money.
tmdttpc: POE feels like a game made by gamers. Diablo feels like a game made by a corporation.
chitin122: What is funny is that all the so called AAA game companies used to be AA and they made their best franchises during that time and have made nothing good since growing in size.
michaelpatton8500: C’mon, drood.
jclbc: His comment about forcing people to get up at 11PM wasn't about a game launch, but more appointment mechanics like "harvest your crops or else you're missing out on all the crops that could be growing overnight".
arkdon477: That's funny; I barely pay attention to XXX anymore.
henribehnen5922: The fact that Jonathan did the coding for the league himself shows the priorities of the people leading this company hats off to you sir thank you for the love and care your putting into this
TONYTONE757: last of the droods?
Skrylas: I'm surprised that GGG hasn't expanded internationally to hire more easily. Larian is an indie studio that's maybe 40% larger than GGG, with 450 employees but has studios in 7 different countries which also allowed them to work nearly 24/7 across time zones in addition to expanding hiring markets.
Seithim: The wyvern form is so metal.
trapper1211: thank you DM for confirming 240fps on a smartfridge
Yurtskees: Sadly, we'll never learn that companies who buy up smaller studios is a very bad thing.
trunks0112000: The problem with uniques is the negative effect of using them as it can sometimes outweighs the actual unique perk
FroPlamondon: I remember having alarms throughout the night for different poe 1 races. 2am run some 15 min bursts, 4 am sign on for the hour long seeded races, that sort of thing. While I loved the racing, and really it's why i got so hooked, I am glad they moved away from that sort of timing based events. I do miss the alt art rewards though.
patrickgerbes3213: Destin and DM best friends confirmed
SapperHawk12: I totally agree with your discussion with micro tractions, GGG model on their currency doesn't seem gothca games!!!
DarkCloverGames: The final stage on split fiction was amazing
JSDRB: I am SUPER excited for the content!
Middy666: I really appreciated the dark patterns question- while watching Chris’s vids I thought a lot about POE 2 and GGG. Really appreciate the honesty and their philosophy
Gholladay: I agree with this. I just bought a $90 supporter pack because I feel like the game offer so much value. I just wanted to support.
WEIRDxGRIM: I do hope we also get a scorpion form for the druid that is focused on poison down the line.
